If liverpool are paying part of Martin and Hobbs' wages I suppose they will take a dim view of their new role as bench-warmers here. If we are paying the lot it probably matters less

If we are paying the lot it probably matters less I know it's a computer game but I imagine its something similar - On Football Manager you pay a percentage, but it could be all of the wages. I'm sure Liverpool were pushing us to play Martin and thats why he had a long run in the team, but Pearson just had to make the change IMO.

CosbehFox Posted 24 November 2008 Posted 24 November 2008 Hobbs was useless at right-back. Simple. Morrison was first in-line when 'Norbo was injured. Tunchev is superb and too good for this level. Morrison looks a decent prospect, if a tad raw from time to time and he needs to curb the hoof he has developed in the past two months. August he was stroking it around nicely. I very rarely seen Tunchev hoof it, always a nice pass to one of full-backs.

Hobbs was shifted to right-back because of Gilbert's injuries and performed poorly (Pearson should shoulder the majority blame for this) and also Morrison has slotted in with Tunchev in the middle recently and looked pretty reasonable.
