Sam Allardyce for Blackburn.

Perfect job for him to take over, just like it was a bad time for Ince to move in.

Blackburn really cant get much worse than they currently are and prior to Ince, Hughesy had took them as far as they could go.

Looks like Rovers fans can look forward to exciting times. Seriously, it must be mind numbing to be a Blackburn fan. Year after year of mediocrity. They were slowly going places under Hughes until he left them for the more "glamorous" Man City.

Some of them were probably relishing a relegation battle but I'm sure steady old Sam will take them back to the dizzy heights of mid table football.

I didn't find it boring to be a supporter of a midtable Premier League club.

Got some work to do that's for sure. With Santa Cruz clearly going to Manchester City he'll be losing his most important player, and ultimatwly Blackburn's biggest source of goals. How much of the money he'll actually be allowed to spend back on players is another question entirely.

They should stay up though. The squad's got some good players in it, they just need a change of mentality, and Allardyce should provide this. There are worse teams out there in the Premiership than Blackburn Rovers.

I think he'd be better off at Sunderland where he would have money and could take them to potentially Europe or something

Sunderland had plenty of time to offer him the job but instead got distracted by a list of foreign managers who will ultimately failt to deliver.
