Guest Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 I'll have sympathy if you tell me which one and what system it's for! It's not the Wii.
Phube Posted 7 January 2009 Author Posted 7 January 2009 It's not for my DS either. But then there's only PC left, and it's usually cheaper to download them!!
Guest Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 But then there's only PC left, and it's usually cheaper to download them!! No. We have Sony.
AoWW Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 My car doesn't even have a mirror Driver's side!? I wouldn't buy a car without a visor mirror on my side.
The People's Hero Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 I wouldn't buy a car without a visor mirror on my side. Which of the Backstreet Boys would you like to... ermm.... ride?
purpleronnie Posted 7 January 2009 Posted 7 January 2009 Well why hasn't Royal Mail delivered my game yet? Over a week since it was despatched now.Stupid Royal Mail. This is the problem, most people have no problem with the royal mail but as soon as one thing goes wrong suddenly the RM are terrible, its like you cant make mistakes if you work for them.

Well who do I blame if a parcel is entrusted with the Royal Mail, and doesn't turn up? Aliens? Fairies?
Milky Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Well who do I blame if a parcel is entrusted with the Royal Mail, and doesn't turn up? Aliens? Fairies? Tim Henman?
Zingari Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Well who do I blame if a parcel is entrusted with the Royal Mail, and doesn't turn up? Aliens? Fairies? racist homophobe
purpleronnie Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Tim Henman? I understand that you blame the Royal Mail of course you would, but peoples opinons are swayed on one incident, they forget that they get their post on time for years and years.

Not round our way, they don't. I also take issue with having to go into town to collect stuff they don't deliver when there are two post offices within walking distance of my house, one of which the postman has to go past on his way into town to drop my stuff off. So much for being eco-friendly.
JakeShingler Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 I ordered a game on the 23rd December and it only turned up yesterday.
Corky Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 I ordered a game on the 23rd December and it only turned up yesterday. Where did you order it from?
Corky Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 HMV. It'll probably be due to Air mail and the distance involved
Guest Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 To be fair to Jake, my latest late delivery was a game from HMV.

If I do have any issue with them it is the fact they don't deliver the post until anything between 12pm and 2:30pm, but, as I work in the day it isn't that much of an issue.

I'm not in either; my postcode is LE2 because we're the other side of the canal. The houses that the same postie delivers to on the other side of the canal get their stuff taken to Blaby, then the same postman takes ours into town, even though Glen Parva has a post office. I either have to pay to have it delivered to Glen Parva, having already paid postage in some cases. Or pay to get into town, and if in my car then pay to park. Or I can rearrange the delivery, sit in all day waiting for it, and still not receive it. The latter has happened on more than one occasion.

Guest Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 That's a bit shite, can you not request that the Postie puts your parcels in your 'local' PO? I have asked loads of times, but where they take it depends on your postcode, and not the actual or logical destination. The Meridian would be a lot easier, but even that is far too sensible. This is one of the many reasons I hate Royal Mail.
