Guest Bilo Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 I've a friend coming from Surrey on Saturday and was planning on introducing him to the mighty Swan. I have since discovered it'll be full of egg chasers. Do I return to the Dock as I did for Cheltenham or try somewhere a bit different? Advice please people!

Seeing as we won 4-0, I wouldn't want to break the tradition.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 Seeing as we won 4-0, I wouldn't want to break the tradition. Off to the Dock then. Even though it did take an age to get served because there were only two people on the bar, much to Kilworth's chagrin.

Guest Bilo Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 You can get served straightaway at the Gateway - guaranteed Tried that pub, there's a reason for that. Hopefully, it'll be better on Saturday cos that aside it was OK in the Dock.
