Scow Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 It looks like me and the Cobb are getting to the dock for 11:30 this Saturday. It gives us nearly 6 hours before the game to get smashed. I have a feeling it could get messy. Any one else planning on doing something similar?

Due to Lisa's sisters wedding at 12 we won't be hitting the Swan until about 3pm, have to make up for lost drinking time after the match.

Guest Bilo Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 All about the S&R for me. Good company and the beers are fanbloodytastic. I can heartily recommend the Rochefort 10 and the Anker Boscoulis. Absolutely gorgeous beers.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 I'll probably be in the Dock pre-match. I'll be the guy with odd shoes on signing to my wife. Due to work though I can't see me getting there pre-3pm, which might ruin chances of parking there
Sparky Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 We want some old time pre match Dog drinking nostalgia! The Loaded dog didnt have soccer saturday on after the FT match prefering a european cup rugby match , but saying that the rugby is on BBC 1 so id imagine most places will show both

Guest Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 As t'other half has pointed out, pre-match drinking time has been seriously cut back. For me, it's all about post-match.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 May have a post-match session on the bottled stuff. Not sure yet what time I'll be there beforehand. I'm up for trying one of those after all the enthusiasm. This could be classic! Just to let you know, Rochefort 10 is a dark Trappist beer weighing in at about 11% (enjoy responsibly ) and Anker Boscoulis is a summer fruits flavoured beer. Absolutely delicious. And they're both Belgian.
