Lovejoy Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Am I the only one who enjoyed "The Football Factory"? Green Street wasn't anywhere near as good imo, can't say I'm too bothered about a sequal . Thought TFF was quite interesting, as was the series of doumentaries that were real. Mind you, I think Tim Lovejoy is a legend, so...
Jordan Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 The first one was an hour and a half of my life that I will never have back. I refuse to watch that trailer, no matter how unintentionally funny it might be. Green Street was very popular in the USA. It was? Well, that's news to me.

Among those who may happen to have a subscription to Fox Soccer Channel, and an IQ low enough to enjoy Fox itself, at least? Its a niche market, admittedly, but still. A couple of years back I had trouble with my sleeping patterns for a while and would watch MLS games on the internet during the middle of the night. I ended up going onto a forum to find out some information, I forget what, and ended up reading a ridiculous attempt at ego-boosting by the writer chap mentioned previously in which he basically started hyping everything up for braindead teenagers (promoting some USA HOOLIGANS!!!! book I think), then had explained in painstaking detail how he had managed to miss Fact by about 200 miles by some guy from Reading. Genius stuff.

SystonFox Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Oh yeah I've seen this.Vinnie Jones scores at the end. liar he passes to danny dyer who looks pwoppa nowty, does a little jig and then rifles it into the back of the net. then sings a song about WHUFC - or something
JakeShingler Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 The first was okay but that looks awful. I only recognised two characters from GS 1. Spot on omfg. That has nothing what so ever to do with green street 1 Or to do with football.
Guest nathan. Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 Spot on Or to do with football. I agree this movie really looks bad

CosbehFox Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Am I the only one who enjoyed "The Football Factory"? I think it's an alright film. Realistic but I think Lovejoy's a nob sorry. Hooliganism is a tiny part of British life and culture, so it's only proper that it can be a topic for a film. That's why I can't wait for Awaydays - originally based on a book, it's about Tranmere and the casual fashion of Peter Storm jackets and adidas trainers. Looks quality. It was? Well, that's news to me. Must the little kiddies then on their computers. I used to use a Polish footy forum (nearly all of them were Poles living in OZ, USA or Canada) and it's the only time I have ever been racial abused by someone for being English!

An African traffic warden callled me fish & chips once cause I pissed him off. In Leeds.
