Scow Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 They are 10 points clear of relegation zone after beating Derby 2-1 tonight. They've done a brilliant job in turning around a season where they looked destined to fall back in to League One before Christmas. James Chambers must be the driving force.
BoneDog Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 i'm buzzin for 'em especially after tonight. I quite like Doncaster for some reason and want 'em to stay up cos I've never been to their ground and want to go next season. A while back I would of put good money on' em to get relegated so they've done great work getting a 10 point gap.
davieG Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 Looks like a lot of people's forecasts were wrong http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...&hl=playing
Asha Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 Massive turn around in general from them. Another example of a team in non-league football not long ago.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 February 2009 Posted 27 February 2009 Donny have enough to stay up. I know Karim felt the same.
Shrenchel Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Fair play to them. On a selfish note, I wish they would get relegated. Just another boring bowl on the outskirts of a town to (probably) visit next season.
CosbehFox Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Just another boring bowl on the outskirts of a town to (probably) visit next season. It's not that far....about 15 minutes walk away from t'town. Decent town to drink in regardless of it being stuck in the 60s and a dump in parts. Play some cracking football, I musst have sat next to the most foul smelling man in the town when I visited tho.
Finnegan Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 They wont be soo lucky tonight I tell you that Nothing personal - but I'd love to see Charlton come down.
Lamby Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Nothing personal - but I'd love to see Charlton come down. You're going to hell bitch. We could realisticaly stay up you know
Lamby Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Oh dear We we're shit, thats why. And the conditions didnt help either. With a combination of my train being cancelled and traffic I managed to get in my seat just after the 36 minute mark <_<

Lamby Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 I think you've had it now, I'm afraid. Yup. Unless Norwich and S'ton really **** it up, I cant see us getting out of it. We'll be back!
BoneDog Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Yup. Unless Norwich and S'ton really **** it up, I cant see us getting out of it.We'll be back! It's defo time to face the music mate. It's a horrible thing I know. It's amazing, Forest, Leeds, Leicester and now Charlton. Four teams I would of bet anything on just a few years ago never to reach those depths. Charlton have been a force for a long time I canna believe it.

BoneDog Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 :laugh:They were reasonable at best, never a force. Punching above their weight like we were. We were defo a force quite recently. Pushing for top 8 alot of the time in the Prem. Teams used to shit it facing us. Charlton too were a force if you ask me. Not pushing for Europe but to be a force in English football you don't have to be top 6 all the time. They were very hard to beat at one time. And they have been riding high for a long time.
Tilley Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Southampton won again last night! 3-0 away, that is their third straight win, I thought they were doomed. Charlton are fooked though, Norwich, Forest, Southampton & obviously Doncaster all won last night.
