dynamite foxes Posted 26 April 2005 Posted 26 April 2005 oh yeah whoops! might have been a bit of a let down.
Anish Posted 26 April 2005 Posted 26 April 2005 Magnificent performance, superb stuff at times! We played them off the park and deserved to win by more goals - that was by far the most satisfying performance of the season! Fooking brilliant!!! :D

Ricey Posted 26 April 2005 Posted 26 April 2005 Positivity at last! Sounds like we did great, still can't believe we didn't concede a late goal.

SilverFox Posted 26 April 2005 Posted 26 April 2005 GET IN YOU BEAUTY SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You could hear the relief after that game (in the form of 'easy easy easy') and you could see it on the grin of everyone leaving the Walkers. I feel so proud. What a night! And what a sign of things to come. Next year we shouldn't expect the world, but with Levein in charge we can eventually become a force again. Ta ta Derby...Premier League?!? You're avin a laugh!

Katy Posted 26 April 2005 Posted 26 April 2005 I thought we played very very well this evening, although we squandered a gazillion chances we didnt give them a moment on the ball and frustrated the hell out of them. Ha we even made them look ordinary, now how often have we done that this season????
step Posted 26 April 2005 Posted 26 April 2005 The performance at charlton was good but today the whole team was brilliant, best this season.
MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 I knew this was going to be a must-win game. At first, I was afraid to open the results page on either bbc.co.uk or the OS. But after realizing we did it, I couldn't retain my joy any longer. I even predicted the correct scoreline! FINALLY! All those months of uncertainty are over. We're staying in the Champs and I just hope Craig Levein sorts the rest of this rotten team out. We have some promising youngsters, Connolly CAN score, Gillespie has improved and a few good prospects from outside Britain. I must say it was a very unlucky season and without this unnecessary high amount of draws in the 2004/05 campaign, we would find ourselves a lot higher in the table. Too many games were given away in the last 5 to 10 minutes, under MA as under CL. We now need a common base to start from, a common spirit (something we were lacking for the biggest part of this season) and things will look better again... Now, let's all sigh a breath of relief together! We're through!
Fox in a Box Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 we were rubbish, passing was poor, not shots on goal, quite from the crowd all game... bring back adnams phew only joking Give us a D Give us an E Give us an R Give us a B Give us a Y What have you got..? We hate nottingham forest we hate nottingham to and DERBY
FNQ Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 quite from the crowd all game... I'd say only 'most' of the game.
Guest Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 If only we played like this more often!! Still, the double over Derby for the first time in a squillion years has made my week!!
Shum Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 Amazingly, we can still do the double over Leeds and Plymouth! That would be a nice ending to the season.
step Posted 27 April 2005 Posted 27 April 2005 Assuming that a squillion years = 95 years, in which case you are spot on
