Amazing, I was actually wondering the other day what the old City website looked like before the PremiumTV days!

Me too, Barrie Pierpoint (Out!) used to talk about the OS all the time in the programme back in the late '90s, but I never had access to the Internet.

Possible Ground Move....

STADIUM RELOCATION - LIVE FANS FORUM

HERE'S your chance to find out the very latest news on City's proposed possible new ground move away from Filbert Street.

In a special live Internet fans forum broadcast, managing director Barrie Pierpoint will be speaking live on the way ahead for the club on Monday night (6-pm English time).

Mr Pierpoint earlier confirmed that the club was looking at two possible new sites for a new stadum.

The club have promised to make a firm decision on relocation or redevelopment of Filbert Street within the next two months.

A site in Beaumont Leys has been confirmed by Mr Pierpoint as one of two venues the club are looking at.

Now Barrie has called on supporters to send him their views - including your e-mails for Monday night from our Internet supporters throughout the world.

"It's vitally important that we listen to supporters as much as they possibly can.

"This forum is a chance for them to express their views and ask any questions they may have directly to me.

"I'm looking forward to this live link-up and it promises to be a very exciting one hour discussion."

Barry has spoken at length about the ground development in the past out lining the two choices on offer.

And as final propositions grow ever closer the Fans Forum discussion is the next consultive stage.

He said: "Our consultation process continues as we move ever nearer to reaching a final decision.

"The alternatives are quite simple for us. We either re-develop Filbert Street or move to a new purpose-built stadia elsewhere.

"I'm giving no secrets away when I say that the overwhelming consensus of supporters I have canvassed is to move ground.

"The volume of correspondence I have received was mirrored by the results of a Leicester Mercury telephone poll.

"Over 70 per cent were in favour of relocation with less than a third of you saying that we should stay put.

"As a board of directors we hope to be in a position to make a final decision within the next few weeks.

"As you might expect, a terrific amount of research has been undertaken into both options.

In terms of a new stadia, many of you spoke about transportation problems should we move to a green-field site.

"Obviously, in that scenario we would be looking at an integrated coach and rail system to bring supporters to the ground. That is the sort of level to which we are investigating."

If you have any questions or views please e-mail them to us at [email protected]

I have just sent in my thoughts hope it's not too late? I hope we don't move ground, it would ruin the atmosphere! Let's redevelop the East Stand, hopefully the old****s will see their houses to the club :fc:
