Kilworthfox Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Why do our fans think it is great to be envious of FCUoM fans? Yes they have decent songs, Yes they are a protest against modern football, however does this mean that it is acceptable to chum them up on this board? If you like em that much fook off n support them. & anyone who sings their songs at a Leicester game (Palace away) is a kvn+ pure & simple.

Why should people have to **** off and support FCUM just because they like their song repetoire and think they have good fans? That's nonsensical logic. It's like saying "oh, **** off and support Arsenal if you like their style of football so much". You can admire and enjoy things without being a supporter. Sometimes I reckon you should think about things before you post them, Tom. Not that it'd make much difference, eh I do agree with what you're saying re: singing their songs at Leicester games though. That's a ****ing joke and people doing it shouldn't really be at the games.

I think you answered your own question to be honest. I don't give a shit what anyone says about me not being loyal to Leicester, I will happily miss a couple of shite home games to go and see them play and stand with their fans. If that makes me a **** in the eyes of some, great. I don't care.

If they want to support a protest club support a proper one like AFC Wimbledon, which was not created because a new owner took over. I am not against FCUM, just hangers on from other clubs. You support who you support end of. I support Leicester, always have always will. I am tired of heraing bullshine. Nice to see you on here big lad.

Simi Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 I support Leicester, always have always will. I am tired of heraing bullshine. Don't read it then? You've started a thread and you're already saying you don't want to read peoples views on it? You can bet some people will come in here and post a video or two or something. Fed up of people telling people what they can and can't sing or can and cannot talk about.
Samilktray Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Never understood why they exist. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Yeah, you support who you support, but you also like what you like. I can see why people enjoy what FCUM are doing, I'll admit that even I like their songs and think their support is quality. Doesn't make me any less of a Leicester fan though. It may be bullshine to you mate, but it's just the opinion of a few people at the end of the day. Other people have the jizz-inducing opinion that Villa are all of a sudden brilliant 'cos of their league position and their English contingent. People cum in their pants over Man United. People are always lining up to have a pop at Libpool and Arsenal. All opinions, not displays of support or claims to be "fans" of other clubs. Nice to know you're still alive, haven't seen you around for a while!

Kilworthfox Posted 5 March 2009 Author Posted 5 March 2009 Good job I have the power to delete the thread then! Yeah start another, i will wind some other member up. Can you leave the ones where I am trying to get JME though? Appreciated
lcfc_jme Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 They play great football though, fans are gash! Boo! Hiss! **** off and support them if you like their football so much.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 March 2009 Author Posted 5 March 2009 Now the novelty has worn off, don't you think it is a pathetic slogan & protest? The reasons they were formed have actually never materialised! They have just won the Domestic League, European cup & World Club Cup & are this season still definately in the hunt for 5 trophys! Best Club in the world at present Man U.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 March 2009 Author Posted 5 March 2009 Boo! Hiss! **** off and support them if you like their football so much. i would but where is Libpool? Iss it near dusseldorf? I have only seen them in black n white Maybe they are near Torino?
lcfc_jme Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 i would but where is Libpool? Iss it near dusseldorf? I have only seen them in black n white Maybe they are near Torino? Shouldn't matter where.. Using your logic, if you like their style of play so much you're a fan.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 March 2009 Author Posted 5 March 2009 Shouldn't matter where.. Using your logic, if you like their style of play so much you're a fan. I am a fan, but not a real one! With your logic or lack of it you should support the club which your local pimp / drug dealer or gun running friend supports, with that in mind how are your beloved Forest getting on? This message has been brought to you in association with Tredders Incorperated "pounding Nottingham poon since 2008"
Fosse Boy Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Never understood why they exist.Anyone care to enlighten me? I'm sure you'd accuse me of boring you and everyone else on this board, so I won't bother. I'm guessing that this thread is partly aimed at me as I'm the one who who keeps ripping off their songs. I'm not envious of their fans as such, I just admire them and the movement they represent. I have no real desire to support them but they're a nice antidote to the modern footballing world, like AFC Wimbledon and Corinthian Casuals. I would also like to apologise for singing one of their songs at Palace away. It was a pissed up mistake but at the end of the day it was only a bit of fun during a quiet spell from our fans.
CosbehFox Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Never understood why they exist.Anyone care to enlighten me? Same here really considering around 50% of their support goes to both United and FCUM games. They are just attempting to gain back some fan power which modern-day professional football has denied them, some part of me thinks it's sad trying to hark back to the days of old and also their rather obixious attitude to lesser sides has hardly deserted them too. That said, their appearance alone at many grounds is keeping clubs afloat this season.
Tommeh Posted 5 March 2009 Posted 5 March 2009 Got huge respect for them and how that means I give any less of a shite about Leicester I'll never know! I see theres an villa appreciation thread creeping up the forum Christ, If I want to be up the arse of any club I'd much prefer it to be a non league club set up and pretty much ran by the fans, who stand and sing non stop for 90 minutes of every match they attend than the pricks in the uppers classes of the top division. Also no reason to get on AFIE about it all, just had a few extra's in spoons pre palace. I agree theres a time and a place and this probably wasn't it but seriously... he came across to me as a very passionate supporter who knows his stuf about modern football and if that includes appreciating FCUM then so be it.

Bert Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 If people want to go watch FC United, it doesn't bother me. Personally, if I'm going to a football match, 99% of the time, it's going to be watching Leicester. Just because other people don't choose to do this, their loyalty to our club shouldn't be questioned, especially as the people who will go to this kind of game, are generally, the ones who go to as many away games as they can, and try to create a good atmosphere. I'll also say, if said person misses one match, to go and watch for example FC united, I can bet that they'll have been to a lot more games than most other "fans" have been in the season. Every person is different and will choose what they want to do. There's some good lads on here, who want to do what they believe is right for football, and I can't respect them enough for that. I'm all for having safe standing areas to create a better atmosphere etc. You can sit down at home for free, you can go and sit in a library for free, but at football, I believe you should have the choice whether you want to stand or not, especailly as you've paid with your own, hard-earnt money. There's nothing worse than being told what to do by some jobsworth ****, especially when at one of your hobbies. The only thing that gets me, is when people talk about clubs not being "original" yet, they go and rip off the original of the/a song that's been created by someone else's supporters. There's no denying that these songs are all brilliant, which obviously, is why people want to sing them at their club. Saying this we've got a few songs that we've nicked, but changed the words that I join with. That sounds hypocritical, but I want to help create a good atmosphere when I'm watching the team, and the only way I can do that, is to start, or join in with what's being sung. Singing songs about other clubs (Non-banter) when you're at a totally different game is not on though.
