Kamara Just made a good point on blw

"I feel sorry for the players at leicester because they know they are up and they keep drawing games they should win because of the points in hand resting on their minds.....fair play to pearson though for changing the dynamics this week and getting a good win"

Sounds about right really......but i think now with pearson shaking things up a bit we will get back to our best level

Hmmm, Surprised he isn't taking credit for us being on the verge of promotion...He did that last time we got promoted didn't he?

Chris Kamara = Cockend.

Chris Kamara is responsble for everything good that has happened as Leicester City ever, a true footballing guru.

My mate Paddy was a steward in the East Stand before buggering off to NZ. When Kammy was passing him, Paddy said "Could you sign my programme please Lionel!?" :giggle:

Wasn't too impressed :crylaugh:

Except, it's hard to see the evidence for what he says.

We didn't deserve to win at Hartlepool or MK Dons for instance or against Stockport.

Nor have I seen the slightest indication of "mission accomplished" from the side.

I remember one match we were on Sky, I can't remember what game it was but it might have been away to Sheff Utd on opening day during Levien's first full year in charge. Anyway our patched up mid-field was

RM: Alan Maybury

CM: Kisnorbo

CM: Tiatto

LM: Wilcox

That may not be totally correct, but it was certainly Maybury and Wilcox. We had numerous injuries. Anyway the footballing guru that is Chris Kamara said

"Well this is the reason I think Leicester will be in the hunt for promotion this year, that mid-field four is one of the best in this league".

From that moment on I realised he knows nothing, but is a funny man.

He felt that his article about us unstabilising other clubs' mangers contributed to us keeping Rob Kelly, so took the credit for keeping us up. The big twat.

Here's another stupid one, can't find the one I've mentioned above yet though. http://www.skysports.com/experts/expert_st...2839145,00.html

Here we are. Sky Sports deleted it but it's been forever preserved on Talking Balls (cheers Babs):

"On another note I have received a lot of positive letters from Leicester this week. Thank you. First things first though, I wasn't there last Friday, I was in Dubai covering the Masters.

Many of you have been crediting me with guiding the club to stability after the things I said in this column some months ago after the dismissal of Craig Levein and Leicester's search for a new manager. I would like to take the credit but, in truth, it is Rob Kelly who deserves it.

All I was doing was acting in my role as Coca Cola Ambassador, doing my job. Someone needed to say something as what was going on was unsettling managers elsewhere, like Mike Newell and Ian Holloway, who might have lost their jobs. Leicester did nothing wrong, which is why the Football League didn't intervene, but it was unsettling incumbent managers, and if I helped to put an end to the speculation, I am happy. But it is Rob Kelly that has sorted it out.

As it happens I have been back to the club since my comments, when Leicester played Reading, and I still get on well with the people there. I think they respected what I had to say and they said something back. Enough said. They have got a good manager now and give the credit to Rob but I thank the fans for your support."
