Craig Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 very very nice The Leicester City squad will be the first side to take to the field wearing the 2005-06 official Football League names and numbers when they face Leeds United at the Walkers Stadium this Sunday (ko 1:30pm).The Foxes will premiere their new JJB manufactured home kit on the day. And Craig Levein's side, who secured their place in the Championship for another season following Tuesday's 1-0 victory over local rivals Derby, will be creating another first when they run out onto the field. City retail manager Ben Swift, said: "We have been granted special dispensation from the Football League to wear our new kit when we take on Leeds on Sunday, and that will include us revealing the new player numbering graphics for next season. "I'm sure that supporters will agree that the new design blends in well with the our shirt for the upcoming campaign." Fans can also purchase the new numbering when they buy their new shirts. Swift added: "We are obviously discouraging supporters from having their shirts printed with the numbers from the current squad as these are subject to change over the summer." Single numbers cost just £4 each, or you can have your shirt printed with a double number for £7. Names can be added at the cost of 95p per letter.
