The thing is though, I am actually forcing myself to do too much at the moment because I don't want people thinking I'm lazy which obviously isn't the right thing to do but that's what I need to sort out.

I have a friend who also had it during the teens, and has been stated in the thread earlier they have managed to overcome it and maintain a normal life.

A friend of mine suffered with symptoms like this throughout his teens and into his late 20s , (but this was years before the condition ME was even invented ) .

He was constantly lethargic and was in a state of perpetual lassitude , hardly ever having the energy to go to work .

However one day he just threw a few clothes into a bag and then went on an exhausting 2 year long tour around the world , It was nothing short of miraculous and we were all completely dumbfounded when he returned telling us all about the places he'd been and amazing things he'd done . ( mostly about unbridled sex and stuff that we needn't go into here )

It must have been purely coincidental that his mother died leaving him a skip full of money and property only weeks prior to his transformation .

seriously though , i hope all goes well to anyone suffering with this

Yes, I know. And some people have a tiny sniffle and go around saying "oooooh, I've got the flu, woe is me, I'm dying!" whilst others get the flu and soldier on regardless (before ending up in hospital - since that's likely to happen if you ignore the symptoms of proper influenza.)

You also get some people who laugh in the face of adversity and others that are sooo serious that they could lick their own tonsils through their anus.

One of my wife's friends has been diagnosed with it but she is still able to make lovely cakes
