thesilverbluefox Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Just wanted to ask Foxes fans view on Tony Warner, he has made good saves at Millwall, Peterborough and a few at home but one thing I noticed sitting in th Kop is that he has never acknowledged the Kop before the game. We clap him when he comes out to the sticks but he never claps back,I for one am getting bit pissed off with it and I am now questioning whether he actually gives a shit playing for City. Thoughts Please

So long as he keeps the shots out he can sit with his back against a goalpost and his IPod in his ear for all I care.
bald reynard Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 When does Warner's loan deal expire ? I thought he only came in as temporary cover for Stockdales' injury - I would have thought he should be going back to Hull very soon (the quicker the better for me !) ?

Like dashing out to the touchline to make challenges when there are outfield players there to deal with it, could have been very costly on Saturday
Scow Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 How many more goalkeeper threads do we need? One for every goal we concede.
BlabyFox Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 I don't rate Warner at all. I feel very insecure with him in goal
craigadams22 Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 I don't care too much for Tony Warner being in Leicester's Goal, We need David Martin back in there. And it would be nice if we could get Cleverley back from Manchester United if we get promoted back to The Championship Kind Regards Craig A

The Doctor Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I don't rate Warner at all. I feel very insecure with him in goal agreed. he races out of the box at every oppotunity and it scares the hell out of me. for instance their first goal came after he came racing out to the edge of the box leavin their player with a simple chip over the top of him. if he had to come out he should have only come out as far as the penalty spot. leaves it possible to get back and make the save if the striker attempts to lob him but also minimizes the amount of space in the goal the striker can see meaning it is harder for him to place the shot where the keeper won't get to it
jimmy7587 Posted 9 April 2009 Posted 9 April 2009 Is it just me, or is it that since Warner has been at the club, (and been playing), that LCFC's form has dipped somewhat! Why are we sending Conrad out on Loan and having two loanee's on pitch and bench?! he did an okay job in championship a few seasons ago right??
