Obviously such stories have to be taken fairly large dollops of NaCl, but there is the chance that the tabloid may have been tipped off by a senior source at the beeb. What did Moyles have to say about it this morning?

Using language like that you must be a Newcastle fan too. Personally, can't say I mind Moyles too much. Decent listen in the morning, though not as good as Mills.

Are you excited because it's half term? Here is what Radio 1's best ever looks like If you don't know who he was, I suggest you learn very quickly. Moyles, along with others currently on the beeb payroll, isn't fit to grace the same studio..

Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles has emerged as almost neck and neck with Radio 2 breakfast king Sir Terry Wogan. The Chris Moyles Show has 7.70 million listeners, up from 7.30 million last quarter, following the DJ's high-profile climb of Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. Meanwhile, Wake up to Wogan has 7.78 million listeners tuning in each week, dropping from 7.96 million last quarter and 8.10 million last year. Moyles took over the flagship slot in January 2004 as the self-styled "saviour of Radio 1" – and reports that he was about to be axed from the station's breakfast show were strongly denied on air last month by the presenter himself. yeh i suppose you are all right. its not liek anyone listens to him!! only 7.7million people
