Doesn't mean it's true though.. he was definitely part of it. it was falling apart a bit at the time, chris evans had gone, mark and lard, excellent as they were, didn't do that well in the breakfast slot and moyles came along (i used to listen to him in the very very early morning slot) with scott mills, zoe ball etc and together with 'old stagers' like simon mayo and mark and lard radio one was worth listening to again. chris moyles' weekend breakfast show was brilliant and i enjoyed listening to him in the afternoons, on my way back from work. however the last few years he's become very very dull, dominic and comedy dave are the only things worth listening to on that show. if it's true, i'd be happy if scott mills got the morning slot.

I'd be looking to get rid of Edith Bowman before anyone at Radio One, I don't think I know one person that likes her, she does everyone's head it, "Amazing". Scott Mills is the best DJ at Radio One though.

I still listen to the podcasts at work and if they do get rid I hope Scott mills gets the gig he's the only other DJ currently on Radio1 who I like.

Scott Mills is the best DJ at Radio One though. Agree with everything. This might sound a bit harsh but I believe edith bowman is only on Radio 1 because shes scottish. Its an attempt to please everyone, she has no talent, she can barely string a sentence together she isnt funny or entertaining.
The Stig Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I am a big fan of Moyles. I strongly believe there will be a major shake up of Radio 1 this year, but I don't believe Moyles will leave this year, Next year, quite possibly. I look forward to his show even more than normal tomorrow morning.

hairy Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 First thing, Ultra reads The Sun! We listen to radio 1 in the morning. While Moyles can be an annoying git at times I really dont rate any of the other DJs who have stood in for him when hes been away. Moyles' team make the show for me. I could see Moyles going as radio 1 got caught out all those years ago with the same old same old DLT and Simon Bates crap so it would make sense especially after some of his nonPC comments recently.
