lou Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/E...200904415269174 Havent heard of him myself but apparently a popular grime MC. Defoe missed the game today because of this. Seems to be someone everyday on the news these days.
BoneDog Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Do you know his MC name? EDIT : just read the Sky link I read about this earlier on BBC website, I feel for Defoe.
Matt Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 RIP. Not that it matters but did I read it was his half-brother? (Not looked at the link, saw it on SSN earlier that Defoe wasn't playing because of this)
samlcfc Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 In this sort of stuff, noone is rarely the good guy and was probably a twat himself as much as the person who did it.
Unit Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 In this sort of stuff, noone is rarely the good guy and was probably a twat himself as much as the person who did it. that's a brilliant attitude

What a stupid remark... quite a lot of victims of crime are completey innocent people actually..... a man has just lost his life for Gods sake.
samlcfc Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 What a stupid remark... quite a lot of victims of crime are completey innocent people actually..... a man has just lost his life for Gods sake. Im not jumping to conclusions, I know there are alot of people that die of complete innocence and believe me, I am saddened by the awful situations you hear about all the time. All im saying is he may have been exactly the same as the sort of people that did it to him, im not saying its alright am i. He may well have just been alone at the wrong time and somebody took the opportunity to take his life.
samlcfc Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 that's a brilliant attitude hardly an attitude is it. I just dont go saying that he must have been a awesome person just because he was the victim. I understand where your coming from but i suppose you just hear so much stuff like this now where its just people where if they were on the otherside of the confrontation they would have done the same thing. Just aint going to be all like RIP whilst I dont know who he is. Im not jumping to concllusions but merely stating the negative side of the argument which people are saying is a misunderstodd conclusion just because its negative
Koke Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I heard he was a pretty good MC. Very sad and unfortunate really. Condolences to the Defoe Family.
AmericanScott Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 And London wants to host the Olympics in 3 years time. Get the fook outta here.
BoneDog Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 In this sort of stuff, noone is rarely the good guy and was probably a twat himself as much as the person who did it. Get a f.uckin grip man
BoneDog Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 I heard he was a pretty good MC. Very sad and unfortunate really. Condolences to the Defoe Family. He was a good MC, I seen him on a few videos but never knew he was Jermaines brother til today.
fox123 Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 I'm sorry, but I don't get these condolence threads. He wasn't even his brother, he was his half brother. Seriously I'm not being disrespectful but who really, honestly cares?
BoneDog Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 I'm sorry, but I don't get these condolence threads. a) He wasn't even his brother, he was his half brother. b)Seriously I'm not being disrespectful but who really, honestly cares? wtf a) I've got half brothers and sisters and I care about them the same as all my family. What you mean, 'he wasn't even his brother'?! b) You obviously don't care, so why bother posting? Un.ucking.believable.
Bluefoxtim Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 wtfa) I've got half brothers and sisters and I care about them the same as all my family. What you mean, 'he wasn't even his brother'?! b) You obviously don't care, so why bother posting? Un.ucking.believable. I'm sure he's referring to the fact that it's making the news only because of his connection with Jermaine Defoe. To an extent I agree.
James. Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 And London wants to host the Olympics in 3 years time. Get the fook outta here. Err... what?

What you mean, 'he wasn't even his brother'?! b) You obviously don't care, so why bother posting? Un.ucking.believable. Too fecking right!!!!!!!!!!........ My Sons Dad is not the same as my Daughters but I dont go for this Half brother/sister shit.... are you seriously telling me they are supposed to not care as much about eachother because one of their parents is different??? Thats a bloody insult in my book! They have the same Mother, live in the same house and always have done. They are Brother and Sisters end of! I know plenty of people who have "full" siblings who arent at all close to eachother....... my family is one of the closest knit families Ive ever known. Defoe is obviously close to his BROTHER as he would have played if he wasnt! If people dont agree with this thread they can not bother posting on it... simple.

Generally someone being murdered makes the news, does it not? I dont believe the lad in the bakery was related to anyone famous, or any of the others that Ive seen on the news this year?

To be fair to you Lou you didn't start a condolences thread just a news thread. I am however miffed to see it turned into one because I doubt any of us knew the victim or even knew of his existence before yesterday
Bluefoxtim Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Generally someone being murdered makes the news, does it not? I dont believe the lad in the bakery was related to anyone famous, or any of the others that Ive seen on the news this year? Again, to an extent, although I'm someone who thought the whole Jade Goody saga was ridiculous. 'Mrs Smith' down the road may have been involved in lots of charity work and then died of cancer, she might do well getting a snippet in the local press. Jade Goody dies and the whole country comes to an standstill. Fair enough, it's the way of the world that the media gets involved when someone famous dies, (even that annoys me) but Jermaine Defoe's half-brother? (not directed at you, just generally!)

I am however miffed to see it turned into one because I doubt any of us knew the victim or even knew of his existence before yesterday Fair comment.... I did start it as a News thread and my point was more "another violent murder in London" than "look whos been killed" to be honest. Obviously Im very sorry for anyone who loses a loved one be it to crime or illness.
fox123 Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 wtfa) I've got half brothers and sisters and I care about them the same as all my family. Yea. it's bad this shit happens, but what I'd like to know is (before I started it) where were the threads regarding Bradley Whitfield? A local lad, a lad that was murdered, a Leicester fan! Because it's a famous person's brother, half brother, sister's step aunty's, uncles's neice, it's made more of, load of shite.
