I feel he'd have gone in the 1st had there been more than 2 seconds left when he got up. Although he was only 1 second away from surviving the 2nd. Would love to see Floyd end Pacquiao.

Would be a great fight, and I think as favorite styles go I think Floyd would edge my supports - As much as he's a cock and I wanted Hatton to batter him, I kind of like his arrogance.

Mayweather is one of the best for decades but Pacquiao will probably improve even more for that fight. He does it for more than money unlike alot of guys at the end of their careers

At the start of round 2 Hatton was still goin for it even after havin a bad time in the 1st. Pundits said he should of closed up a bit but I don't think that would of helped so fair play to him for tryin to brawl. No-one would of lived with Pacquiao tonight. Hope it goes well at Cardiff today

Well you beat me, I said 6-7 and would never of bet on either fighter winning before round 6. It was unbelievable (Ricky defo played his part though, he never backed down and seemed to go for it, got a couple of hurtful shots in I think). Pacquiao is the DON of boxing no shit. Can't be denied now.

Tilley Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 I'm pretty confident Hatton could have over powered Pacquiao if the fight had last a few rounds longer. He needed to stop throwing punches aimlessly and letting his defence down. He was far too keen to get it over and done with asap, which was stupid because that suited Pacquiao down to the ground. Hatton should have took his time, let Pacquiao do the work & picked his punches. I'm no boxing expert but I think Hatton would have been the stronger as the fight went into the latter stages. But he rushed it & lost.

Hatton was poor but I still think if he had of woken up a bit he could have lasted much longer. End of a career.
