Tomassi Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Evening, As most of you know, i help run Internet Foxes FC. However, the club secretary and captain have now gone onto pastures new. With the continued strain of finding players and now without a kit, I have a proposal. I want to take over Internet Foxes totally, with new players and a new committee from Foxestalk and re-brand the team FOXESTALK FC. I've seen that quite a few of you on here go to both HOME and AWAY games. In full this is what i am proposing... New Committee Manager - To select the team and organise match day duties. Captain - Organise on pitch duties, help manager with team talks etc. Club Secretary - Organise matches with opposition, organise pitch (this is mainly done by email). Treasurer - To look after finances, collect money off players. Kit Washer - Wash the kit in return for free match subs Players A total of 16 players required, who can make the majority or all matches Home and Away. In most cases, there will be 2 matches a month, in which we hope to keep to a 50 mile radius (Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Coventry City, Peterborough United etc etc). Also all players much be at least 18, if your able to drive that would be an advantage. Ability does not matter, as its friendly football. Everyone will recieve at least 45 minutes of football each match. Match day equipment is already sorted, balls, nets, etc. We do need a new kit. In terms of pitch locations, we can use Dorset Avenue in the Fairfields estate, or i can try Lutterworth Soccer Centre, which will make it easier for away teams to visit us (motorway links) If this all appeals to you, PM me. There will be some rules in place which will be explained on here in full, i just need to see if its feasible first. Maybes and Wilkesy are definates too after speaking with them. With regards to the squad numbers, from experience it wont work if more than 16 turn up, but if we fall short im sure other people will play the one off game here and there. Also, with regards to kit wash there two ways. Either 1 person washes the whole kit, or each player pays for their own kit and washes their own kit. Anyway let see what happens and i'll keep providing progress reports.

Tom's creating a brand new team so to speak, so it's from scratch if you get me? The regular stuff is for stuff like Under 21 V Over 21's etc.

I played for the internet foxes for about 20 minutes until my hamstring went after a 50 yard dribble up the pitch. Put In a sterling performance at centre back, kept a clean sheet, I come off and then we go and lose.
