The Blur Posted 22 June 2009 Posted 22 June 2009 I was bored one day so I started to create a Cult XI based on my childhood heroes that I watched on MOTD, so here goes... GK- David Seaman ( Arsenal) - he got in because of his dodgy ponytail was so memorable LB- Andy Impey ( Leicester)- The fact he always stick his tongue out whilst celebrating with others nailed him a spot RB-Jose Bosingwa ( Chelsea) Skillful but dirty- witness his raised foot tackle on Kuyt's back CB Sami Hyppia ( Liverpool) Cool surename- he hypnoise his defence to sleep CB Vegard Heggem ( Liverpool) Got in cause of his surename- His surename sound like a dirty Polish assasinan LW Robert Pires ( Arsenal) Groovy goatee- enough said RW- Ruel Fox ( Tottenham) His surename associate with us CM Jermaine Jenas ( Newcastle) I just liked his intials JJ CM Muzzy Izzet ( Leicester) Do I have to mention why he got in???? CF- Lomana Lua Lua ( Newcastle) Look at Jenas's reason as well for spawning somersault celebrations CF Julian Joachim ( Aston Villa) For the fact he scored a bit in Villa's 4-4 draw with Charlton that was my first match I ever watched Subs: GK- Ian Walker ( Leicester) look at Seaman DF- Rio Ferninand ( Man Utd) Look like he is lazy and forgetful and play with a such lanky style DF- Matt Elliott ( Leicester) A ugly tough brute who got told off by Alan Cork for allowing his son's ear to be pierced MF Joe Cole ( Chelsea) I just loved the way he dribble, pass and shoot- No one does just like he do MF Florent Malouda (Chelsea)- Classical hairstyle and useless displays make a lethal sexy mix CF- Nichalos Anelka ( Arsenal)- The moodiest gentleman in the game and his butterly celebrations in gloves is legendary CF Louis Saha (Fulham) - An useless genius- Can be great but shit at the same time Name yours and state the reasons for their inclusions as well name your players in their club when they was most memorable for you
