Bluefoxtim Posted 13 July 2009 Posted 13 July 2009 I can't imagine that there would be a written rule stopping goalkeepers from wearing huge gloves, so why has nobody tried wearing 6 foot fingersaves?
AyewJoking Posted 13 July 2009 Posted 13 July 2009 How would they punch a cross away? Theres no rule saying you cant poke the eyes out of opposing players with your 6 foot fingersaves.
Bryn Posted 13 July 2009 Posted 13 July 2009 There's a law preventing use of objects to block the ball beyond the players anatomical means I think (it's not exactly worded in that way I don't think but that's the interpretation I'm giving you).
whitlock Posted 13 July 2009 Posted 13 July 2009 Why not just build a brick wall on the goal line aswell.
DB11 Posted 13 July 2009 Posted 13 July 2009 If the gloves are too big then they will flap about and it will be very difficult for the keeper to catch the ball If they tried to put something in the gloves to stiffen them up then you would call it dangerous and thus not appropriate.
