Foxes_Trust Posted 9 May 2005 Author Posted 9 May 2005 What reprasentatives from the club will be there may i ask? 105639 It is at the Walkers. Certainly Tim Davies & Peter Jones will be there, not sure on any others
Foxes_Trust Posted 10 May 2005 Author Posted 10 May 2005 I can't make it, but a full report would be nice 105926 We will be posting the minutes that the club make (as with other Fans Forums) however if they don't have anybody taking minutes, then we will publish our own summary. That said, please everybody create time to come along - this is your chance to tell the club how you feel about any subject or question Tim & Co
SilverFox Posted 10 May 2005 Posted 10 May 2005 As I said, Id' love to come, but I have meetings tonight that pay the bills to buy the season tickets to watch the manure we spread on the hallowed turf
Foxes_Trust Posted 10 May 2005 Author Posted 10 May 2005 So few fans bothered to turn up. So we can't be bothered to tell you Often the Trust is frustrated with the clubs attitude, tonight the Trust is fed up with the 'leave it to everybody else' attitude of the fans Good night

Fez of Mahrez Posted 10 May 2005 Posted 10 May 2005 So few fans bothered to turn up. So we can't be bothered to tell you Often the Trust is frustrated with the clubs attitude, tonight the Trust is fed up with the 'leave it to everybody else' attitude of the fans Good night 106576 106577 Chicken and egg situation. The club don't listen to us so we don't turn up so the club don't listen to us so we don't turn up.
Knighton Matt Posted 10 May 2005 Posted 10 May 2005 So few fans bothered to turn up. So we can't be bothered to tell you Often the Trust is frustrated with the clubs attitude, tonight the Trust is fed up with the 'leave it to everybody else' attitude of the fans Good night 106576 can understand your frustration but i don't think petty outbursts like this are going to help the situation. i can't explain the low turnout perhaps it was apathy, perhaps the early start time on a work night, perhaps the feeling that whatever is said the club will not listen...
Chimp Posted 10 May 2005 Posted 10 May 2005 So few fans bothered to turn up. So we can't be bothered to tell you 106576 As a representative of the Foxes Trust you have a responsibility to behave in a more mature manner. These kind of petulant outbursts do yourself no favours in the eyes of the fans... especially those who would have liked to have gone to the meeting but have commitments outside of supporting City. Please, get a grip.
Steven Posted 10 May 2005 Posted 10 May 2005 So few fans bothered to turn up. So we can't be bothered to tell you Often the Trust is frustrated with the clubs attitude, tonight the Trust is fed up with the 'leave it to everybody else' attitude of the fans Good night 106576 Then everyone must conclude that the meeting and anything decided or said must of been of no importance.

Cheers.
SilverFox Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 Some people have jobs and families, and whilst football is great, I'd prefer to either; 1. Get paid not sacked! (So I can keep giving the club my hard earned cash 2. Not be relegated to the sofa by the missus!
Teeno Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 It was a dissapointing turnout. A few good points were made. TD spoke about the over policeing at the ground and has said he has argueed till blue in the face to sort it out. He said that the police our ripping the club of and on one occasion I think it was the crewe game the police had graded it as a game in the highest catagory. TD argueed this and said that it was ridiculous and the police tried to justify it by showing him a clip of a couple of their fans fighting amongst each other in the concourse at a home game which was totally irrelivant. He said the SAG and the police threatened to take the saftey certicate of us at one point when TD was angered at how many police they wanted at games and the club wanted to push them as far as they could to see if they would do it. He said he hopes to sort out some sort of deal where the club will pay the police upfront so they cant go charging pathetic prices and over policeing. On the shirt he said that the offer from JJB was to good to turn down, and despite not saying anything he gave away that the away kit will be for two years and is likely to be white. Not much was said on the grounshare thing but he said that views on the stadium and the experience when they played Toulouse were great. He said that the total wage bill this season 10mil and that will be dropped next season. He said that all the new players that Craig are signing are given clauses that they must live within 25 miles of Leicester. He said that we will have one of the biggest wage bills next season as we recieve a parachute payment the summer. If I remember anything else I'll let you know.
foxilescom Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 "He said that all the new players that Craig are signing are given clauses that they must live within 25 miles of Leicester." I think that is a very good idea.

Here are some of pur brief notes, we'll get something on the website as soon as. Around 20-30 (?) people turned up. I can only recall questions being asked by the Trust representatives (making up about a quarter of the attendance), a poster from the Fox message board and one other bloke during the main part of the meeting. (Why so quiet Beaumont & Teeno?) Tim Davies took questions on his own - no sign of any of the Marketing "if you don't like it, don't buy it" Department. Most questions appeared to be answered as honestly as a format such as last night's meeting would allow and very much with 'a straight bat'. In summary: - A commitment was made by Tim Davies to ensure the Club consult more with the fans (personally the problem has never been Tim Davies). - The Fans Charter (including the various clauses regarding kit cycles / consultation with the Fans Forum) won't be changed without consultation with the Forum. - Standing. The Safety Advisory Group appear to be on a different planet. Write to your MP (as Teeno noted above, the game was Wigan where the police insisted on £20k being spent on their resources, where Wigan had no history of trouble at all) - The Fosse Group and new kits were discussed including the soon-to-be-launched away kit, which we've asked to be on a two year cycle & be white. (as Teeno says the indications are both our requests have been met) - The concert was cancelled by the club and they'll have to stand the costs of this (the figure was never going to be released in last night's meeting). Following the above, the meeting decended into random irrelevant questions being asked such as why Micky Adams had bought players who were 'too slow', why we sold Paul Dickov and Ben Thatcher instead of keeping them (?!?!!) etc etc etc The attendance of 20-30 meant it was a complete waste of time in terms of demonstrating that fans are bothered what the club does to them
