C-man Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Righto, now apparently there's some fecking disastrous road works around J25 of the M1, and seeing as I'm gonna be nailing it up there after I finish work at 3, anyone know a better way to get there if I leave the M1 slightly earlier that J25? They aren't disastrous, they're frustrating though - 50mph speed limit with cameras for 16 miles. Unless there's an accident you're usually okay and the traffic moves at at least 40.

Fox92 Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Do not park in the Staples car park because I have seen on a Sheffield United website that where Staples is (and some other shops) a new firm has taken over the car park and now charging a penalty of £40.00 to anyone caught using it for Bramall Lane uses. It is quite near where we usually park and apparently a Sheffield United fan used to use this car park to watch Sheffield United and came back after the Port Vale match to a £40.00 penalty.

Dan Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Someone might have posted this I don't know but the ticket office reckon there is a handful left and another 1,000 on the door tonight, someone probably has posted it but I cannot be arsed to look.
Fox92 Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Where is everyone parking? Where is there to park? On the previous four occasions I have been to Bramall Lane, we generally park in Matilda Street (or just around there) and then walk under the bypass to the ground. However, not sure if this will be a good idea at night. Is it safe to park there?
