lcfc_jme Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 MTFU. STFU. I guess you're back home now and not in Notts, else I could've picked you up on the way. Tragic. I've only just seen this, but alas, I am back in the Shire of Leicester. Very, very disappointed with how this plan is unravelling before my very eyes.
SemperEadem Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Does anyone know if you can park your car at the walkers if you are getting Fox travel?
Granno Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Does anyone know if you can park your car at the walkers if you are getting Fox travel? Yeah round the back of the stadium.
Karljohn Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 I rang the ticket office late on friday for my ticket, was told by the girl that they will be available on the gate. so id guess at around 1500 maximum sold so far... Still waiting for my ticket, girl said she would make a special trip to the post office for me as it was 5pm on friday....nice. Also if anyone from Atherstone, Nuneaton or Hinckley area wants a lift then PM me, im driving up leaving Nuneaton at around 4.45ish, returning to Atherstone straight after the game but can call via hinckley or nuneaton...2 seats spare

SamL Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 just spoke to the tiket office and we have just about sold out the original allocation for this and tht tikets will be available on the gate also May well be unreserved seating then.

LCFC-ARAB Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Anyone getting the 11.04 train from Leicester? yeah i will be
Tommeh Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Anyone getting the 11.04 train from Leicester? Heroic leaving time. We should be in Sheff for half 5ish all being well.
Fox92 Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 just spoke to the tiket office and we have just about sold out the original allocation for this and tht tikets will be available on the gate also Great so its sold out then. Should be a good atmosphere as always. According to O.S, 1000 avaliable on gate so if they all go thats 2,800 which is about the allocation we usually get. Anyone from Leicestershire or wherever going to Meadowhall?
Milans Foxes Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Never been to Bramall lane before, was planning to drive up for about half 5, park near the ground, walk to town and find a nice pub and then walk to the ground from there, does that sound like an ok plan, not too sure how far away the ground is from the town centre thats all? Also, what is parking like near the ground? Is there plenty street parking at that time or is it all residents parking?? Read all the info on the pubs, was thinking the Globe seems a gud option, anyone else going anywhere in particular? Cheers
Fosse Boy Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 yeah i will be Aw, rats. <_< Heroic leaving time. It's even earlier than that too technically, seeing as we're starting our journey in MH.

Cheers Leave yourself 20 minutes to get to the ground from the town centre. I'd advise you not to try and park near the ground, it's probably best to park in town at that time.
Bert Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 May well be unreserved seating then. Must be true now you've said it.

C-man Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 ok thanks, whats the parking like in town? Any places that would be best? There's a few NCP car parks dotted around that you could use but I can't give great directions because of all the one way systems etc... Sidney Street, Matilda Street and the Train Station are probably decent locations - close(ish) to the ground and town centre. There is street parking if you come in on the A61 before you get to the ground, but you're further away from the town centre if you choose to park that side of the ground.
Lovejoy Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Or, shift yourself up to the back row son. Guaranteed standing. Find me two spaces big G and I'm there .
john_lcfc Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 i would love it if it was unreserved seating/standing.
Katy Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 i would love it if it was unreserved seating/standing. As would I, it would be like Tranmere away last season.
Guest Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Righto, now apparently there's some fecking disastrous road works around J25 of the M1, and seeing as I'm gonna be nailing it up there after I finish work at 3, anyone know a better way to get there if I leave the M1 slightly earlier that J25?
