CosbehFox Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 Interesting and suprising considering last time's turn out, are more people opting for Portmand Road instead? or is it because of the Tuesday night?Anyway, I cannot wait for this one though and although I have never seen us win at Bramall Lane, I am quite confident after Port Vale went there and won and quite confident with Paddy Kenny not going to be in goal. If we can get something at both grounds in would be great but I'd love a win at Sheffield United more than anything (apart from Hillsborough)... Roll on Tuesday... They have better! BUNN!!!!!!!!!!
leftsideoverhere Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 Picked up tickets for me and Greg today. Just can't get used to this season ticket malarkey - forgot about having priority! Anyway, they've got plenty left if anyone still hasn't got theirs and fancies going. After last night's pretty good turnout to Macclesfield I expected this fixture to be closer to sold out, but I guess there's a few days to go yet, and Ipswich might be draining people's pockets. More importantly, can anyone offer me and Greg a lift? Or do we need to convince the other half of the family that they really want to visit Sheffield next Tuesday night?

Unless many are getting Ipswich tickets as well, seeing as it states on the official site that there are only 200 left. Is anyone going to both Portmand Road and Bramall Lane or is everyone just going to Bramall Lane because of Ipswich's prices?

This, was quite interested in the thought of going Portman Road but saw the prices and thought better of it.

Fox92 Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 This, was quite interested in the thought of going Portman Road but saw the prices and thought better of it. Well yes I mean we thought about it but who can afford both. Most probably no one unless they have a well paid job.
Granno Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 Well yes I mean we thought about it but who can afford both. Most probably no one unless they have a well paid job. I don't have a well paid job but I've been saving all summer, so luckily can afford to go to both.
john_lcfc Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 The different "type" of fan should be quite amusing for these two trips. Ipswich= Barbara, Sandara and Bob with their flask and blankets. Sheff YOO-Lads aged 16-30 wanting to sing and stand* I hope I am right. Someone going to both must inform us. I personally fit into the second category....cant wait!!! *cannot be help responsible for sweeping generalisations

Lovejoy Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 Row E i'm worried . Though a week night surely increases the chances of standing.

Granno Posted 15 August 2009 Posted 15 August 2009 Sour grapes? We all know he's right. Oh right of course, because all the regulars are missing Ipswich it's automatically gonna be really shit.
Asha Posted 15 August 2009 Posted 15 August 2009 Well yes I mean we thought about it but who can afford both. Most probably no one unless they have a well paid job. I'm going both, and I don't even have a job. Oh right of course, because all the regulars are missing Ipswich it's automatically gonna be really shit. You tell 'em G.
