Thracian Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 you could have got Thracian if you'd have been quicker you'd get a lot more words from him I've done my stint on the Mercury but if we really are to see a new dawn in the coverage of Leicester City, they might start by spelling Howard Riley's name correctly. Although a hero of the glorious 60s, Howard remains a familiar face around the club on match days whether it be first team or Academy. It may seem a little pedantic but for the City's newspaper to spell his name wrong is rather like one of the nationals talking about our World Cup winning captain, Bobby More. That said I bought the Mercury today for the first time in years and quite liked the City coverage. As someone mentioned earlier, it surely won't be difficult to deliver an improvement.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I wouldn't know about any match reports . I never read any because if I've been I know what happened, and if not I can't be arsed to read about it . It's a bit like reading about someone else having sex . I believe such periodicals are widely read

Flynny Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 you could have got Thracian if you'd have been quicker you'd get a lot more words from him It'd also cause a 50% increase in white space due to the excessive number of paragraphs.
