Not at all.

Just though I'd give him a mention. Slightly heroic that.

Hats off to him! Just the way you worded it sounded like you was going to say something else after thats all!

Nice to see Tom Cleverley outside the ground as well.

Lee Jobber was outside too - and they opened up the main gate to let him in cos there ws no way he was getting through the turnstile! :D

little chance of decent food anywhere near the ground - it was all a bit like Stockport

We ended up at a licensed graveyard on the outskirts of Macc which was all but empty, served a grudging pint, pronounced that they don't serve food after 9.30 (it was 10-ish) and had no-one in sight capable of rustling up a few rolls or sandwiches.

Yep, Macclesfield's crap for food, duff takeaways, strange chippys, ridiculous short opening hours (5.02 to 6.32 pm on tuesdays in March only if theres a full moon) ;):P severe lack of butty vans / greasy spoons / anything thats open for food all day

Pah!

Personal highlight was throwing the toilet roll on the pitch.
Sky Sports News Summariser:

"Highlight of the first half?- someone throwing a toilet roll at the goalkeeper"

then as an afterthought

"Not that Sky Sports advocates that sort of behaviour"

:D

:D

I've got a video clip we took on the mobile of when the 1st goal went in and right after everyone goes 'RRARARARARGHH!!!' you can see a bog roll coming hurtling into shot onto the pitch like a missile or some strange sort of comet :D:D

Haha, yes it was a bit like going back to the 80's with shops shutting at half 5 and stuff. We got there quite early so got the bus into town and it's actually quite nice. A nice lady told us where the pubs were, which ones to avoid, what bus to catch back and everything - heroine!

theres not a lot going on in town really, especially in the week

theres not even things like a Pizza Hut / KFC / Burger King / Nano's etc.. for miles

theres probably busier / more 'upmarket' bars if thats your bag if you pop a few 3-5 miles down the road to the posh bi eg) Alderley Edge / Prestbury, but you'd no doubt end up paying extortionate amounts for it :D

I find it strange up here that practicall all the chippys are combined with a chinese to, you dont often see one as a chippy alone, and they dont sell usually sell beans, thats plain weird in my book :D

which pubs did you end up in? :)

None, haha, we went in the French Cafe, milled around the shops and got the bus back to the ground!

Nice to see Tom Cleverley outside the ground as well.

Why is that there is a lad from Manchester United who gets on with this club and hopes they do well more than the majority of the ressies atm.

Cleverley strikes me as a likeable lad who clearly enjoyed his time. He wasn't incredible by any stretch of the imagination but he worked his cob for us and thus is why he's wanted by so many City fans to come back here.

I don't know, maybe he's not as thick as Sappleton et al.
