Fox92 Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Think I'd go with the same team of; Weale Nielson -- Hobbs -- Brown -- Berner N'Guessan -- Oakley -- Wellens -- Dyer Fryatt -- Howard Why change a winning side? N'Guessan should be looking to run at Williams all day, well for 20 minutes like he usually does. Wellens and Oakley should dominate again. Howard should be looking to beat those two centre backs all night. Hobbs and Brown should be able to eat Maclean for dinner. The only thing I am looking at is their goalkeeper Joe Lewis who is a good goalkeeper. Although we did put four past him last season when he looked his worst.

dypatel06 Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Well I thiink Gradel Is Muchh Better than Lloyd Dyer...
knowitall Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Tunchev wasn't on the bench on Saturday was he? Anyone know why? After the Preston game he had two days rest, but after the Derby game he only had a days rest and his knee swelled up just a little. Should be fit for the Watford game. Forget what the Mercury say. Tunchev did NOT go away on international duty. Bulgaria told him he needed to be playing first team club football before they would pick him.
knowitall Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 andd alsoo can someone tell mee if Gradels injured or what ? and DavieG do you have like a link or something to your signature video... i find the liverpool and arsenal one hilarious =P Max is 100% fit
Sergio Hellings Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Weale Neilson Berner Tunchev ** ( if fit i beleive hes a better footballer than Brown, who gives the ball away too much) Hobbs Dyer N'Guessan ( we may see a final ball yet !!! Build ups been good, quality not quite there ) Oakley Wellens Fryatt Kermorgant** ( Howard too imobile for my liking, hopefully Yann can be more mobile and just as useful in the air ) Anyone know what the game is with Astrit Ajdarevic ?? Because i thought he looked decent while on loan last season, and hasnt got a look in so far this term, even in the league cup.
dogadug Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Well I thiink Gradel Is Muchh Better than Lloyd Dyer... same
Legend_in_blue Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Tunchev needs a run out. I'd replace Brown with the Tunch. He's our best player afterall. I'd keep the rest of the defence the same. In midfield I wouldn't change anything. Up front I wouldn't change anything.
Bryn Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 If Tunchev isn't fit he isn't fit, no way is he worth risking even at 90%, not when Hobbs and Brown are still doing well.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 I'd agree with the people who say Tunch if he is definitely fit, as I can see CMS and McClean doing Brown for pace constantly. But then is it the right sort of game to give Tunch a run out, against two quick players? I'd like to see him play as he marked McClean out of the game here last season but cant see it happening again.
Joe. Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Tunchev's hardly Usain Bolt is he? Give me Wayne Brown over a semi-fit Tunchev any day against Maclean and Mackail-Smith.

jonw88 Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 I'd really like to see McGivern given a run out against Pboro, don't get me wrong Berner has done a solid job so far but we don't know what McGivern is capable of yet, he's highly regarded at Man City so I'm sure he can do well at this level. Peterborough are one of the lesser sides in the league so rather bed him in against them than someone else where mistakes are more likely to be punished.

jonw88 Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 But for me Berner's done nothing wrong all season, so doesn't deserve to be dropped I'm not saying he hasn't done anything wrong, but we have Ryan on the books so might as well use him and see how good he is, Berner is no spring chicken and maybe a rest will see him revitalised for future games, we don't really have anything to lose by trying Ryan with Berner as an option on the bench

dogadug Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Stick Morrison at right back too. yes, IMO he's better than Neilsson
Ozwin Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 I'm not so sure. Nielson is good imo but Morrison's young and has a bit more pace which Peterborough have. He might have a better time.
