AjcW Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5563194,00.html Possibly something to do with the kakuta saga. Or just that he fancied a change.
Edmund Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Well he had a big role in transfers at Chelseas so it can't be merely a coincidence. Maybe Chelsea realise that there transfer ban cannot be overturned and they are taking it out on Kenyon? Yes he "quit" but it doesn't mean it was only in his interests.
StanSP Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Seeing as he had a big role in transfers: 1. He was probably most involved in Kakuta's transfer, so he doesn't want to be part of the club anymore. 2. He's pretty fucked til Jan 2011 if he can't arrange transfers.
FilboFox Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 He knows he's to blame and he's probably been pushed for it. And as for part 1 of FoxForever's post, he's still at the club, just in a different role so it wouldn't be that he's running from the club altogether.

Cool. My bad. Thought he left altogether.
Tommeh Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Tosspot anyway. Go online please. Many albums need sending.
Jay Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 I guess it was probably suggested to Kenyon that it would be in his best interests if he resigned from his post after recent events
Simi Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Cretin of the highest order. Will always remember the monent when he seemed to take credit for Chelsea's Champions League run when he let the guy from UEFA put the medal around his neck like he'd done something. ****. Moments later Sir Bobby Charlton comes up and refuses to accept the medal over his neck, acknowledging the players and not himself.

leicesterfox86 Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 This football article sums things up nicely actually, Kenyon has basically left his role at Chelsea when things could go really, really wrong. He has always been at the centre of everything wrong with football. Now it is left for whoever takes over to clean up the mess.
