ousefox Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Should have won but at least we managed to draw once we went down.
MikeyT Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 As I just said in the other thread, they know how to worry us don't they. Probably should have won based on the first half performance, but when it came down to it I'm happy we at least got a point in the end.
Guest Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Another point away from home against a decent team.
Lillehamring Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 waghorn and n'guessan bailed us out of that one.... sounds like we were gash then good then gash then lucky. but seriously, no more brown, no more.
City_4_Life Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Dont really know what to say. I was feeling gutted when we went 3-2 down, but ecstatic when we got the equaliser. Dissapointing not to get more out of the game after being 2-0 up at H/T, but now glad with a point after that second half. This game never seizes to amaze me.
Craig Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 I feel so faint and shakey after that, wow. Lucky, but i'll take it.
phillcfc Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Derby, forest, cov all losing makes the result slightly better. Can't understand why Tunch didnt start. I thought Brown's last few performances would have given NP the perfect reason to fit him back into the side. Just hope Wellens is OK.
Rich Fox Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 We are far from the finished article we need Waghorn instead of Fryatt and nanny nguessan should play. Disappointed today glad I never went to this hate games like that when we throw leads away. We must build on this though it shows we have good spirit at the club to come back at the end. I would also bring Billy Kee back fro Accrington.

Leicfox Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 2 points lost. 2-0 @HT and then totally fall apart as soon as Wellens goes off is very very worrying. Sure we rallied at the end and showed abit a spirit to level and get a point but it still feels like a loss to me.

Manderic's pants Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Brown needs to be deployed when his strengths are needed - ie, against a beefy attack were he can bully the shit out of them and show them who's boss. Too many mistakes in the last three games, which combined with his total lack of place and poor distribution, surely must mean tunch gets the nod. The argument for not changing a strong defence is no longer valid.

orangecity23 Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Wait, you'd drop the top goalscorer in the entire league for Waghorn? Who has scored 1 (deflected) goal? Bizarre to say the least. I like Waghorn, but Fryatt is on fire at the moment, and to be frank, a bigger goal threat than the rest of attack and midfield combined. Crazy match, hard to know what to say really. 2 points lost and 1 point gained at the same time, mental.
dandannieldanok Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Poor effort even though we bagged an equaliser.
City Lad Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Am I the only one who despite the goal still feels sick? Second half sounded dreadful, we havn't collapsed like that in years. First game in ages I've doubted Pearson and Im one of his greatest supporters.
teblin Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Shame we didn't get that first away win. But after 8 games we are 9th and 3 points off third and have the top scorer in the league i'd have taken that before the season! Think it will improve when tunch plays!

Brown suited the teams we played against earlier on....put him against pace (peterboro) and put him on the backfoot like today and he's out of his depth.
simtacular Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Still never lost a 3pm kick-off under Pearson!
sdb Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Hopefully the side will have learnt a lot today. Still unbeaten at 3pm with NP which I love. Need to play for 90mins - we've not done that at all this season from memory, even in the games we've won.

Karljohn Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Still never lost a 3pm kick-off under Pearson! God help us at Boro tuesday night, lost 5-0 today, backlash expected!
