Sir Fynwy Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Shame it's a shit pub! Shame you are an idiot. Jog on.
Tommy G Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Being able to watch the ashes on a hot summer's day under a railway bridge arc in the Pump and Tap garden does not feel run down to me.You sound like an arrogant little tosser talking like that. Maybe there's a job on the council for you. What because I didn't join the bandwagon of being against the bridge being knocked down? I walked past the pump and tap a week last saturday I think and I thought to myself how run down it looked. The site will be of much better use with the Leisure Centre but some people think we can just cling onto old buildings forever. Fair enough, places of interest such a stonehenge would never be built on, but it's a bridge with no use now and frankly an eye sore!
Tommy G Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Mate, just an opinion, although some profanities are fine, bringing someone's mum into in this context it is really low and offensive, bud, and not warranted!! There's a right time, place and person to curse someone's mother, it's not something that should be trivialised!! Maybe if you look at the amount of times he has cursed me compared to me taking the piss out of him you will find he has done it a lot more often Dr. It takes two to tango and I don't expect you to stick up for me as he's your buddy. I've got no problem saying anything to him, whether it's on here, at the pub, on the moon. i'm not some shit that will hide behind a computer screen and never defend myself. act the same in all contexts and then you will be more respected.

I'm not sticking up for anyone, it was abit out of the blue, and unnecessary and both you and Daggars are grown up enough to look after yourselves... If you and Daggars have that type of relationship then carry one guys...........................
Katy Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 You not joining us? Sadly not, missing the game too. I'm sure there will be other opportunities to go out for a drink though, although sadly not at the Pump and Tap.
Dr The Singh Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 You not joining us? Don't worry, you can drink her share!!!
AjcW Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Depending on the time I'll come. Although my dreams of being lifted above tommy g's head look like they will have to wait .
Tabou Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Depending on the time I'll come. Although my dreams of being lifted above tommy g's head look like they will have to wait . Gayyyyyyy

Tommy G Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Thats a shame Dont worry I will! Looks like I'll be meeting a few new faces at this shin-dig - just not Tommy G I wouldn't worry about it too much. I would get annoyed by a handful of people there and probably end up leaving.
AjcW Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Gayyyyyyy Now that's Gayyyyyyyyyy!!! You do both realise it was a piss take right??
Lillehamring Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 7th is fine for me pre match but Im out Saturday night so cant do post match either. Theres also a game on the 21st (coincedently my Birthday) if that suits people better? Either will do for me though i can do the 21st
Lillehamring Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 It is. It's an old traditional ''run down to the group'' heap of shit. I'm glad it's being demolished. The whole area round Braunstone gate will look a lot better once that bridge is down and the pub is gone. yeah, cause DMU have such a good track record of well planned, senistively considered, attractive buildings
James. Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Valerenga, Singh and Tabou in the same place on the 21st? Throw in Bellend and I'd be tempted to make the trip from London for that one.
Sparky Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 yeah ill make an effort to get down for this , Quite like the Pump and tap in fairness, much prefer the traditional boozers to the lifeless bars that seem to be the norm nowadays
Dr The Singh Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Valerenga, Singh and Tabou in the same place on the 21st? Throw in Bellend and I'd be tempted to make the trip from London for that one. I can't make the 21st, but don't let that stop you!! Plus the place closes down on 20th!!!

Guest Bilo Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 I may put in an appearance to say a fond farewell to the old girl. Nice little boozer that'll be missed.
Guest Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 There is no game on the 7th. I am in London. The game is not happening.
davieG Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Is Ultra being invited - he had a soft spot for the pump and tap (even if he did advocate/support his party with it's demolition)
Dr The Singh Posted 5 November 2009 Posted 5 November 2009 Is Ultra being invited - he had a soft spot for the pump and tap (even if he did advocate/support his party with it's demolition) You always lower the tone of any conversation\thread!!!
Tabou Posted 5 November 2009 Posted 5 November 2009 I had the weirdest dream last night about this thread. The Pump and Tap had been moved to Mablethorpe, and some FTers were there, including AOWW, Katy, Smuts, Singh, TPH and James. We went from bar to bar, getting drunk, before James. disappeared, and the coast guard refused to look for him as they didn't want to pay over a £1 a litre for petrol. Harry Ramsdens also featured. Strange.
