Does Piertersen deserve his place in the team, I know on his day he can be magical but it's seems like it's becoming quite rare for him to knock up a decent score?

Forty odd overs left, backs to the wall. :D

Collingwood's the best man for the job though.

How many overs do we need to face overall?

Ninety overs per day is supposedly the minimum, but it rarely happens due to one thing or another.

Is that what you mean?

I wanted to know how many more we had to face but they've just said another, so on top of the 131 already bowled I make that 131 in this innings.

Oh, I was just a little confused. :giggle:

22 left now, should get a draw from here.

Loving the proper old school batting from Collingwood. No showing off, no posing, just a pure grind.

There's a joke about the shortage of grit to treat the roads being down to Collingwood eating it all but you've probably heard that by now.

I love the man. And Bell's alright too.

Bell seems to go well when he doesn't play shots, maybe he should endeavour to be Geoff Boycott MKII. 2 quick wickets, 12 overs, 3 wickets remain. Cardiff all over again. Come on Broady.

Not long to go now, Collingwood and especially Bell have batted superbly.

I don't understand why Harris has bowled more than Duminy, who's looked threatening.

It's not just him who gets tempted too easily though, far too many Test level batsmen get drawn into playing unnecessary shots when the situation doesn't call for them. If you're batting out for a draw in a Test match why not just leave anything that you know isn't going to hit your stumps? It might be boring but it's common sense and frustrates the hell out of bowlers.

Anyway, well done Onions etc. Absolute natural at leaving the ball alone.

I've been working from home the past two days because of the snow. Had this on in the background and then suffered power cuts all afternoon. The power came on just as "Match Drawn" appeared on screen. FUMING.
