Bert Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 SA - 170-5 after a good start for them, we're in control.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 I'm only watching this test cos the ground will be my accomidation for 19 nights during the world cup.....it was criminal to let them make a good partnership after having them on the ropes.
Fox You Forest Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Good start. I'm only watching this test cos the ground will be my accomidation for 19 nights during the world cup.....it was criminal to let them make a good partnership after having them on the ropes. Pipe down Aussie.
Corky Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Good start.Pipe down Aussie. Strauss is playing the pinch-hitting role very well
dandannieldanok Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Trott's winding up of the South Africans at the crease is heroic. !
Alexikokopops Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Going well today 263-3. Cook century and Collingwood half century.
C-man Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Pleased for Cook. Not so pleased for myself, been wanting shot of him for months.... I knew he'd come good
Sparky Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Get the foot down early tomorrow and we can win this
dandannieldanok Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Hopefully the sentimentality of the SA selectors towards Ntini continues throughout the series.
TrickyTrev Posted 28 December 2009 Posted 28 December 2009 Hopefully the sentimentality of the SA selectors towards Ntini continues throughout the series. Is the quota system playing a role in Ntini's continued selection? He looks a shadow of his former self.

Haven't got a clue, but I certainly think sentimentality is playing a main factor behind his continued selection; reflected when Smith chose him to bowl the last over in the first test to try and get Onions out. If they have any sense they'll replace Ntini with de Wet for the next test, here's hoping they don't.

England in a good position, another 150 and South Africa under pressure.

Corky Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Going off now Great chance of victory, top bowling from Broad and Swann.
purpleronnie Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Fab stuff, really enjoyed it. Lets just hope the weather doesnt stop us from winning.
Edmund Posted 29 December 2009 Author Posted 29 December 2009 Excellent day at the office. Hopefully the weather holds out tomorrow and we should have it all wrapped up. Hats off to Broad and Swann for that excellent bowling performance.
dandannieldanok Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 Seen the wickets......Broad bowling Kallis was fantastic.
dandannieldanok Posted 30 December 2009 Posted 30 December 2009 Swann is just unplayable at the minute.
