surrifox Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 so that's that then - 180 ao. Can the good work on the tour all be undone by a couple of hours shite batting?- yes probably
dandannieldanok Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 I'm a big fan of Pietersen, but he's failing with the bat far too regularly now, luckily for him there aren't any real stand-out competitors for his place in the team.

purpleronnie Posted 15 January 2010 Posted 15 January 2010 as crap as he's been of late he has still scored more runs in the series than strauss Srauss is still worthy of his place I feel, but he does seem a bit dopey.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 January 2010 Posted 15 January 2010 Can't believe they've dropped Onions for this test. As Dale Steyn has said, Onions bowls tight to the stumps and really pressurises batsmen, he creates wicket opportunities for other bowlers by keeping it tight at his end.
Fox You Forest Posted 15 January 2010 Posted 15 January 2010 Starting to look more like a swimming pool than a cricket pitch.
Alexikokopops Posted 15 January 2010 Posted 15 January 2010 Unfortunately it's gone from this to this
davieG Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 Our top order batsmen are shittily inconsistent.
Fosse Boy Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Our top order batsmen are shittily inconsistent. We could do worse than reverse the batting order for a couple of matches. At least our tail enders seems to a) know how to leave the ball when it's appropriate, and b) when they do have a waft they're not good enough to get a nick on it.
Sparky Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 No 3 is still a major issue, Trott scored his ashes ton at 4 and has had poor series at 3, Bell seems to have found his position at 6.
Corky Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Disappointing way to finish, but both sides played some great cricket and I'll take a series draw.
