TrickyTrev has got it bang on really.

Not too sure about the shape, but I thought it was a good opportunity with Oakley out to try something new. Something that ultimately paid off. :)

Wellens - 7 - Again, under par.

How can you score somebody 7 out of 10 and then write below par after. :ermm:

I really hope our crowd don't start getting on Wellens' back because he misplaces alot of passes in some games. He's by far our most influential and creative midfielder - that time today where he tried a ridiculous volleyed ball that went miles out of play was a heroic effort.

There is only one thing that is important to me in a Leicester player, and that is effort, and by all accounts everyone put in a good shift today, obviously everyone wants the most skillful players in the league, but I would rather have a clogger like Neilsen who gives his all every game than a more skilful player, but inconsistent player.

From what I have heard about the game, it was a good team performance, and from what I have seen this season we have a good team, a team that plays better than the sum of it's parts and I can't ask for any more.

We are not going to run away with this league, and maybe we had a bit of luck today, but I am so happy to see we finally have a bit of fight and spirit a bit of passion and ability. This is looking like our best season since our last in the prem and I am fookin' made up.

Come on Leicester.

Berner 8 (MOTM)

King 6

Wellens 6

Kermorgant 7

Fryatt 6

Waghorn 6

We had a lot of posession but lacked ideas in the final third. We looked comfortable at the back and Kermorgant had a good first half and won most of his headers. Berner, Hobbs and Brown (in that order) were awesome today.

Weale- 6 - Didnt have much to do.

Neilson- 7 - Solid, made some decent tackles, feel alot more confident now when he's playing.

Hobbs- 7 - Another solid game, made a few minor mistakes, but these were sorted.

Brown- 8 - A born leader, if i was NP i would have him as my captain instead of oakley.

Berner- 7 - Another solid performance, from city's most consistant player.

Kermorgant- 6.5 - He didn't do much for me, did some good stuff, but i felt he didnt really get into the game.

A King- 7 - Another good performance, and the goal he had been due for a long time.

Wellens- 8 - I love watching wellens, he's such a clever footballer, love it when he turns players.

Gallagher- 8 - I don't know why every one else hasnt been rating him higher! He played excellent, some of his crosses were brilliant, e.g when brown made the plymouth defender head against his own post.

Fryatt- 6 - Few good runs, thought it was a goal in the first 5 mins.

Waghorn- 7 - Impressive.

Subs:

Howard- 5 -Little impact, but was thinking when the corner was being took, Stevie Howard Vs Leeds II

Adams - N/A

N'Guessan- 5.5 - The game changed a little bit, but i would have started with him, the game needed some1 to run down the wing with the ball.

He's cost over £1million so people have every right to question him. And I guarantee if it was Oakley or any other player that isn't Wellens, that pass would have been an abomination in everyone's eyes rather than a "heroic effort".

Weale 7 Always there when called upon, what a signing!

Neilsen 7 Good game, doesn't deserve the criticism he gets from some.

Hobbs 7 Mr Consistency

Brown 8.5 MOM solid as a rock & good skipper

Berner 8 The professor, cultured player, loved by the fans

Kermorgant 6.5 Tried hard but difficult to create with 10 defenders around him

Wellens 6 Definetly not as effective of late as he used to be, what's happened to him?

Gallagher 6.5 Tries hard but had same problem as Kermo

Fryatt 5.5 Plymouth kept him out of the game, well marshalled

Waghorn 6.5 So much energy from this young fella, NP get him signed up asap

Subs

N'gessan 6.5 Useful player to bring off the bench

Howard 5 Wasn't effective, won very little. Super Steve not very super at the moment

Adams Can't mark him, not on long enough. He looked & played so well earlier in the season, deserves a start.

Referee Twatt of the day by a country mile.

Ermmm Andy King? Scored a goal, you remember him? ;) God I was pissed and even I noticed lol

I cant rate players for this one was too drunk.

This is exactly what I can't understand about Leicester fans. Constantly moan about not having enough creativity and passing the ball sideways and then when someone tries something it's shocking. Fair enough it wasn't well executed but if it had come off it would have been amazing.

As for costing over £1million, I have no idea what you're expecting from that money but in my opinion, he's been a steal.

Anyway he hasnt cost us over a million yet... it COULD reach 1.2 million with add-ons but regardless hes been a very good signing for what really isnt a lot of money by todays standards. So he makes a few wayward passes, hes still been the best midfielder all season.

weale 6.5

neilson 6.4

hobbs 7

brown 7.3 MOTM solid would be a good description.

berner 6.6

wellens 6.8

king 7 because of the instinctive goal poach

kermorgant 6.7 wicked shot

gallagher 6.3 OUT OF POSITION

fryatt 6.7

waghorn 6.4

Superman used his get out of jail win card with this one, and if memory serves me correctly, theres only one get out of jail card in Monopoly, although, if theres enough players you can get it again.

Bit suprised he used the diamond formation, but atleast it showed he's prepared to try and entertain the fans with a more attractive style. What was lacking was the lack of shots on goal. Pointless having 2 strikers and 2 shooters from midfield if they don't shoot alot. I don't believe the England manager has watched their goalie play.....

Weale 7 - Didn't have much to do, did what he had to do well though.

Neilson 7 - Gave it everything today, solid, doesn't let much get past him, not the best going forward though, not that we should expect much. Good game.

Hobbs 7.5 - Another solid game, improving match by match.

Brown 8 - Same as Hobbs, was a rock today.

Bruno 8 - My man of the match, was good at the back, going forward. Best left back in the league, without doubt.

Gallagher 6.5 - Didn't really happen for him today, put in some good balls but he's not a CM! Play this guy upfront, he is quality!

Wellens 6.5 - Misplaced a few passes, is on a bit of a bad run. Didn't play badly though, just not as good as we know he can. Played some very clever balls, just needs other players to be anticipating them.

King 7.5 - Went about his game well today, did all the little things and the goal was taken well. Played Kingy :D

Waghorn 6.5 - Didn't happen for him either, still ran his socks off and caused a few problems. He's not going to be as good as we know he is every game.

Fryatt 7 - That shot which got hand balled was quality, the way in which he bought it down and went past a few players, unlucky not to score. Made some nice touches.

SUBS:

N'Guessan 7.5 - Changed the game, start him next game Nige!

Adams 7 - Good corner for the goal, should be given more of a chance. I like him.

Yeah but that's my point, you can guarantee that everyone would jump on the back of Matt Oakley if he did that pass yet for Wellens it's a positive, just surprises me that's all, nothing against the bloke.

He started really well and was brilliant against QPR, it's just when he's not on his game it really shows up not well at all.

Anyway he hasnt cost us over a million yet... it COULD reach 1.2 million with add-ons but regardless hes been a very good signing for what really isnt a lot of money by todays standards. So he makes a few wayward passes, hes still been the best midfielder all season.

Well it is quite a lot of money, only a third of the championship could dream of spending that cash, especially for someone at his age. You're right he's been our best midfielder this season, would just like to see him get his head up and try and create more of an impact, especially against the weaker teams like Plymouth.

Why the consistent slating of Nielson, He was solid today. Yes he made about 1 or 2 bad passes but players do that all the time.

I think cause he was poor at the start that people think he will be poor before the game and don't actually pay attention to the performance.

All I'm gonna say is, we miss Wellens more than any other midfielder.

Ratings:

Weale 6 - Not much to do.

Neilson 7 - One of his better performances, tried hard, well stuck in.

Berner 6 - Didn't really notice him until the end, when he looked knackered.

Hobbs 7 - Started off shit, but was solid.

Brown 7 - Put his blip behind him, and playing well.

Gallagher 7 - If he's upfront, he's class, still did well in midfield. Awesome technically.

King 6 - Quiet game until his goal, gave the ball away a few times.

Wellens 6 - Not his best game, but his presence alone is something.

Kermogant 7 - Won everything in the air, wish that volley had've gone in.

Fryatt 6 - Still holds on to the ball for too long.

Waghorn 7 - Just wasn't happeneing for him, but his strength, enthusiasm and energy made up for that.

All the subs played their part in changing the game. Would like to see Adams more.
