If he's bothered to make a topic on an internet forum I'm sure he would have said thanks in person. Or do you think he got his phone back then slapped the guy and ran off?

Perhaps you could phone in Radio Leicester, or even ask the tannoy bloke at the Walkers, if you could have that thanks announced? Might be a good gesture and then thousands would hear about it as well.
