Jedward the revolution.

JEDWARD were last night on the brink of pocketing £50,000 each to replace Jordan on I'm A Celebrity.

And Dancing On Ice host Phillip Schofield declared he is also keen for the twins to appear on his show in January.

ITV bosses approached John and Edward's X Factor mentor Louis Walsh yesterday in an outrageous bid to sign them up for the jungle.

He flew back to Dublin last night to convince the twins' parents, Brian and Susan Grimes, that joining I'm A Celeb was the best move for their fledgling showbiz career.

ITV chiefs have issued a strict deadline of 5.30pm today for Louis to persuade them.

Simon Cowell also insisted it was a "great idea" for them to join the show in the Australian outback.

A source close to the twins told The Sun: "ITV are determined to get the twins. A flight can be arranged in time so they could be in camp by this weekend.

"It would be a nailed on ratings-winning coup if Louis manages to persuade them it's a good move for their career.

"Louis still believes ITV haven't offered enough money. But the twins were completely unknown a couple of months ago and everyone around them is saying they should make hay while the sun shines."

GMTV host Ben Shepherd asked Jedward yesterday morning if they would be interested in joining the jungle.

John asked: "Can we do that? Are we celebrities?" Edward added: "I'm A Celebrity - do we have that title?

"We're up for any challenge, we've got to think about it together and see if it's for us."

X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes have already been tipped for Dancing on Ice, despite being voted out less than 24 hours ago.

Last night, Jedward were booted off The X Factor after landing in the bottom two with Olly Murs.

Within hours, fans had set up a Facebook group begging the 18-year-old boys to sign up for the celebrity reality show Dancing On Ice.

And the idea has already been endorsed by Dancing On Ice hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

Speaking to Jedward on This Morning, Philip said: “So, can you skate?”

After Holly explained that they were trying to “sign them up”, John replied: “We’re pretty good at rollerblading.”

To which Philip shouted: “Excellent, see you next year!”

It wouldn’t be the first time an X Factor reject appeared on the show – Ray Quinn, runner up in 2006, won Dancing on Ice earlier this year.

However, it is virtually impossible for the twins to appear on the show this January, because they have various X Factor appearances and rehearsals for the tour. Plus, the other contestants have been practicing for weeks.

A spokesperson for Dancing On Ice declined to comment.

I understand NONE of this thread :frusty:

Jedward are from X Factor (John and Edward)

Since they've ultimately failed from that - they were entertaining for sure, but singing-wise not so much - so they're being tipped to delve into other reality/talent shows.

I've heard Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and CBBC want them too.

They will both be millionaires this time next year.

Annoying Irish twins who can't sing=Both millionaires very quickly in these crazy times

Forced my my mum and sister, I sat down to watch the x-factor results show on Sunday, and watched these two in the sing off.

I was literally stunned and open mouthed at the absolute shitness of their singing ability, when they belted out that Boyzone track. It was fooking shocking
