Salita was floored by a lightning-fast left-right combination after just 10 seconds and never recovered. The New Yorker clambered to his feet, but his legs had gone and the referee had no choice but to step in as Khan continued his bombardment. Khan, 22, now has 22 wins and 16 knockouts from 23 professional fights. Didnt even get to see it.

Bit gutted it never went on for a few rounds but very happy Khan won Feel a bit for Salita after all the work he must of put in, seems like a good geezer and for it to end so quick must be gutting. But what can you do against that speed and accuracy apart from get hit alot !

Don't think i'm bothering buying a Khan fight on box office next time, it is just a waste of money (Dunno what it was yesterday with sport and wasting money ah?) i'll just find a stream or something. Fair play to Khan though, TBH don't get me wrong i'd have gone down but the initial punch that sent Salita to the ground didn't look a particularly great punch, but Khan was just to fast after that and it was always going to be a 1st round stoppage from then on.

To most dedicated boxing fans it's not all about the main bout though is it! Anyone there last night would also have seen James de Gale and Frankie Gavin fight plus they'd have seen a young Londoner called Kevin Mitchell defeat the only man to beat Amir Khan, and although it was on points it was a comfortable victory.

Loved that shot. Khan is Pacquiaos main sparring partner while he trains for the Mayweather fight, so Khan gonna learn loads in that. He just gonna get better!
Hugo Sanchez Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 I don't think khan will ever have the fanbase Hatton did, also Hatton bar the SUPER FIGHTS ( Khan hasn't ever had a huge fight in terms of ppv earnings and fighting in Vegas) has proved that he's been England greatest boxer in the last 20 years. I hate Khan with a passion, was so happy when he got knocked out.

Amir Khan really is gonna be something else if he realises the potential ability he has, and hes also do entertaining to watch, like Naseem was too.
