lou Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Cant see how this is a crucial, must win or massive game?! Its highly unlikely we will get anything from this bearing in mind the oppo and our form of late, so we'll probably win! Nah cant see anything other than a bit of a hammering to be honest.
Leicfox Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Cant see how this is a crucial, must win or massive game?! Coz it's on Sky.

Because another defeat will knock our confidence further and could start a downward spiral of 8, 9 even 10 defeats in a row. Crucial we get out of this bad run right away with a win. Get all the fans back on side and swiftly forget about the last 3 matches.
dandannieldanok Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 I think we'll lose by the odd goal. We're capable of sneaking a result but we needed to be on much better form than this to have realistic expectations of one.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 Because another defeat will knock our confidence further and could start a downward spiral of 8, 9 even 10 defeats in a row.Crucial we get out of this bad run right away with a win. Get all the fans back on side and swiftly forget about the last 3 matches. If we lose, the team will get slated If we draw, someone will be at fault, and the team will get slated If we win, no matter by how much, or how convincing, someone will find fault with the performance. Get the fans back on side? Unfortunately some fans will never be on side in the first place.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 Not really a "season-changing game" or a crucial one. We'll win. Got a feeling luck will be on our side. Toon under the cosh from Forest. Bit weary, We've got the home crowd. We need the crowd to really get behind the lads. Newcastle are beatable. You'll cut me down for this but.. Leicester City 3-1 Newcastle United (Howard 2, Fryatt) Back to basics.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 I have to go for a defeat. Acouple of goals in it. We just don't have sufficient quality.
Legend_in_blue Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 I think we have the personnel to do it, but tactically we'll lose it and the match. We'll be far too negative, look to constrain Newcastle and pay for it eventually.
Porky Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 Can't see us winning unfortunately. Maybe sneak a draw, but realistically I have to say a defeat. :\
lovelcfc Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 Can't see us winning unfortunately. Maybe sneak a draw, but realistically I have to say a defeat. :\ I hate to say it but i agree with you although its just like leicester to go and win
MrSpaM Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 It's really not the end of everything if we lose. Playing it up like that really isnt going to do the fans or forum any good if we dont play well. 2 - 2

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 January 2010 Posted 28 January 2010 put three past them , paahhhhhhhhhh, fryatt's not getting the service , 2-1 to toon [27 to 28'000 mainly Foxes fans cheering the boys on, this is the time to turn our season around and hopefully march on from there, lets face it if not we will be really struggling to make the play-offs to state the obvious i know. Also what has happened to the promise by our saviour Milan Mandaric that if we were in or around the play-offs come the Jan transfer window we would be splashing out??? Surely if there has ever been a time to boost the squad its NOW!!! Finally prediction for Saturday Leicester City 2 Newcastle United 1 - come on you Blue boys!!!]
maddog Posted 29 January 2010 Author Posted 29 January 2010 Solano could make debut. Powell could play again http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_1/8483774.stm

suffolk fox Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Was just about to say that they have Steve Taylor & Ameobi out... <_< Wouldn't get too excited they have signed four players in the Jan window three should play tommorrow? 1-1 we will score a late equaliser.
fatmando Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I think (not that anyone on here cares), Newcastle will score first. I hope it's early, give us plenty of time to come back into it. I think the game matters enough to NP and Solano to get the whole team up for it. I'm going 2-1 to the Fosse Fryatt scoring both - he's due a few. C'mon City, I'm bringing the lil' un' again....need a good advert! :city:

lcfc_jme Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Hoping somewhere in town will show this game. Probably not if there's a live Premiership game on ESPN at the same time. Oh, and for what it's worth, we'll lose.
Geo V Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Another Sky Sports masterclass from the boys ala QPR away. They have signed Fitz Hall on loan who had a shocker for QPR against us and with Taylor and there Spanish left back whose name escapes me out, I reckon we have a chance and will win 2-0.

MY QPR fan colleague was telling me to pray Fitz Hall plays tomorrow, that shocker he had against us is, apparently the norm!

I thought he was OK at Palace but I think injuries have messed him up quite a bit. He looks like a big strong defender but really is a poo mans Terry Butcher
