To be fair to JT, Bridge and his Mrs we're seperated and had been for 3 months when the affair started. So he didn't completley stab him in the back

Ahhh that makes it so much better then, no idea why he's being vilified.. lol:D

Still unbelievably disrespectful when they're supposed to be mates first and foremost and also team-mates. She's not much better herself. From where I'm sat, it'd be brilliant if a high-foot "accidentally" caught Terry in the sack (so to speak >_< ) when they played against each other. :giggle:

He's a prik end of, can't blame her, Wayne Bridge has probably nailed loads of birds behind her back anyway lol so fair game

This is completely different though, the papers and the media in the general aren't spilling the beans on your average joe so why should they be able to spill the beans on the likes of Terry. Anyway, with all the money in the world, Terry couldn't stop word of mouth through family and friends.

Hmm, so having your private life exposed on facebook wouldn't bother you?

The issue is the rich are using principles of law to prevent certain facts about them being exposed. Yes, rumours will always circulate, whether or not you are rich, but if you have money you can quell them and even get damages for it. Average Joe has to put up and shut up.

There is also the question that celebs live their lives in the public domain. They rely on the media; JT certainly wouldn't have his multi-million £ sponsorship deals without it. I'm sure he's profited from magazine spreads, showing his apparent happy marital home. Having used the media for his benefit, what then gives him the right to prevent the media from cashing in on him? Or any other celeb for that matter?

Bear in mind that the reason he didn't want this story getting out was because he was more worried about the risk of losing sponsorship deals than his wife. What a nice bloke.

I am guessing she already knew by the time he was in court.

I wouldn't be surprised.

I would have left him long ago, if that was me.

You wouldn't have gone there in the first place..

True! :giggle:

Can't really argue with any of that  , I just find the whole charade way overblown and the way the media has revelled in it nevermind just reported it has grated me. If there is the opportunity to cover it all up with money then so be it in my opinion, he's earnt the cash to do it and if it's above board then why not. Morals don't really come into it, they go out of the window with the action itself, not the action of covering up. Granted, what Terry has done is despicable and not condonable in any sense, but I think all the fuss is pathetic personally, millions of men and women cheat on their partner and a proportion with a friend's partner. All the stuff about changing the captaincy, that's fine but the way these guys life their lifestyle I wouldn't be surprised if the next captain had been, or is, a love-rat.

The problem is that celebs like JT and Tiger Woods make a lot of their sponsorship money because they have a good image, why should they be allowed to lie and use the courts to cover up the fact they aren't what they claim to be.

I think it's only an issue with the captaincy if it's going to affect his dealings with other players.

However, I understand Cappello said when he took over he believed the captain should be honest, trustworthy, and whiter than white. At the end of the day, he's the one who's going to decide.

Yeah everyone on here asked Walshy to be stripped of the captaincy when he was shagging around with his team mates wives when he was captain..

JT is living the Playboy lifestyle, tre dat.

I must have missed the bit where Walshy was expecting to lead England to the world cup.

No Walshy lead City over a longer period of time and still lifted the Coca Cola Cup.. He didn't lose their respect. So what if its England, Bridge will reitre and he isn't good enough anway, no loss.

The England squad will respect JT because they all know there just as bad and if they don't JT could easily dish the dirt on them.

No. The players concerned were sold on or dropped from the first team leaving Walsh still here. The guys a twat.

Lets just say Terry has shagged Gerrards missus. We need Gerrard more than Bridge, but would people still be saying the same and letting Terry continue as normal?

Why should Wayne Bridge's world cup be ended through no fault of his own?

this is so true! however as its been stated before terry is more on an invaluble player to the england squad and wouldnt be dropped. its a shame really seeing the bad guy win in my opinion

Exactly. So the moral of the story is, leave Bridge at home in June to learn how to adequately satisfy a woman.

I think perhaps the moral of the story is no one player is bigger than the team, even if he is captain.

I have to say, the press have done a sterling job of having everyone believe that John Terry was shagging Wayne Bridges wife behind his back when in fact all he was doing his Ex Girlfriend.

More gossip on JT, all allegedly....

1. The Sun have lined up another EIGHT women who have slept with him in the last 18 months or so. Enough for a couple of weeks of front pages Including FHMs own HSH, Tanya Robinson

2. The front page today that Bridge's ex, Vanessa, has slept with five members of the Chelsea squad is only the beginning. Two other Chelsea players - Gudjonsen and Drogba - were also sleeping with Bridge's girlfriend at the same time as Terry.

3. The Sun is also paying Vanessa £250k to dish everything including the fact that the Mystery fifth Chelsea player is, depressingly predictably, Ashley Cole. Which should give Cheryl the excuse she needs to finally dump him

4. JT has also been sleeping with current team mate Hilario's wife (who also has kids).

5. Away from the bedroom, JT also owes Wembley a substantial amount of money for a box he owns and hasn't paid for, even after he had mates in there racking up a £20k bill at the FA Cup final.

6. JT was involved in an incident with a woman in a wheelchair in a nightclub (not sexsual, but reveals him to be a nasty bstard)
