Donny Post Match

Awful stuff tonight, no penetration, and lost our way badly after Fryatt departed.

The fluid football that we played at times at Blackpool went missing again tonight, jekyll and hyde, Donny who I thought were absolutely shit, have taken an easy point. Killer chance fell to Gallagher who missed when easier to score.

Can only improve Saturday, 3 points a must.

You know surely there is something wrong with the system when Waghorn is chasing after a ball he just headed on himself... :giggle:

Back to basics on Saturday please, 4-4-2, Howard and Waghorn up front and Dyer and N'Guessan/Solano on the wings.

Ain't rocket science.

We looked tired and didn't show any real quality which is a shame.

When was the last time we saw a decent match or played well on a tuesday night home match. I bloody hate them!

4-5-1/4-3-3 has been working, we just couldn't get any rhythm going tonight, neither team could. It was almost as if both teams were mirroring each other, 3 passes, lose it, 3 passes, give it back. Roll on Saturday, Pearson should hopefully give them all a boot up the arse.

What toss, It's worked fine for the previous two games, but hey lets ditch it after one poor performance in which we still picked up a point.

Two words for some of the reactions on this forum, them words being "knee" and "jerk". Seriously people, some of you need to calm down, where was the whining that 433 didn't work when we played newcastle off the pitch.

Poor pasionless and painful to watch.

We are still 6th but now 5 behind Swansea. And we have two games in hand I guess so if we can pick up some wins in those we will keep in touch.

Never rely on games in hand, We could lose the both.

Boo fcuking hoo what a load of shite!!!

Hisss,Boo,sack the fcuking lot of em!!!

Someone on the post match phone in even said he wont be renewing his ST....Good on you pal!!!

Until we win a couple of games back to back and we'll be Championship contenders again!!!

A good win away at Bpool,a scrappy shitty point at home to Donny....could be an important point at the end of the day...

But still what the fcuk do i know....I'll let all the manager wannabes post and tell us where NP went wrong!!!

Should never have let Mark Davies go(Or even Mark DeVries!!!!!!!)

Yup I would probably agree with you there. I can't imagine what it must be like for those people who witnessed their first Leicester City game today. What an introduction. I swear at half time there were some people who came all the way from Finland to watch the game as well.

Hey everyone, first time posting.

Had to respond to this. I brought two friends from uni along - one from Panama, one from Mexico. I somehow convinced them to come to a Leicester match with me. £20 each. What an introduction to English football.

Highlight? The half-time balti pie ("it's curry... in a pie!").

I was in the kop and had no fooking idea why they were booing either! The guy who actually did it was crying I swear.

It was Brian Stock who collided with Fryatt, Roberts had fook all to do with it.

Maybe cos they thought he was the guy who injured Fryatt? :dunno:

That game was complete dross - as bad as anything produced in the Levein/Kelly/Holloway eras. Pearson's decision to play too many square pegs in round holes backfired horribly against a side clearly intent on stonewalling their way to a point.

Fryatt's injury gives the Howard/Gallagher forward partnership a chance to shine. Let's hope it gels sooner rather than later - with Solano and Dyer in the side to provide a stream of crosses.

I see the usual whinges from the happy-clappies about the negativity in both the stands and on this thread.

But as we've found so often in recent years, nothing can be quite so negative as a manager's coaching manual - and Pearson has clearly studied the same pages as his predecessors.

If his side produce yet another 90 minutes of fruitless, sterile, mind-numbing tedium on Saturday, the patience of the faithful will wear even thinner.

I'm glad I'm on a sabbatical next season - don't think I could stand another season of mediocre, barely-digestible lower-league cack.

Because that is what this team, and this manager, seems hell-bent on giving you.

I swear some folk on here rejoice when we do shite!

Notice how they tend to stay clear when we win but come a shitty result and off they go!!!!

To suggest yday was like being back to the Levein/Kelly era is ludicrous...we were Constantly shite then...atleast now and again we have a half decent result!!!

Dont think no one is arguing that it was or wasnt crap-it was....but no need for OTT knee jerk reaction when we play shite....likewise when we win....Just need to keep a level head...

We have a solid good defence and keeper.

We have a shit crap useless midfield, mainly Oakley, Wellens and King who are all far too similar players and have no real creativity or quality. We basically have no midfield.

And we have strikers that can't score.

The goalscoring charts for our forwards are totally fooking embarassing.

And why didn't NP make the 3rd sub earlier :dunno:

Fooking useless, inept freezing cold home performance against a dogshit Doncaster side.

Only consolation is i would have been delighted with 4 points from these last 2 games prior to the Blackpool game which we have, a win Saturday will make it 7 points from 3 games, playoff form.

But annoying we didn't draw at Blackpool and win with a good performance today, not a patch on the Newcastle game.

Get Wellens, Oakley and King out the team and get some strikers that can score. Recall Dj, he's no worse than what we already have.

Adams and Gradel are no worse than what we have, Pearson continuously shoots himself in the foot with those decisions.

I would say Adams, Gradel and Dj are 10 times much better options than Oakley, Wellens, Gallagher, Howard, Kermo etc at the moment, Gradel won't be back but Adams and Dj should be instantly recalled.

This made me laugth someone please tell him that Gradel has gone for good!!!!?? Guess I am the lucky one as I didn't go tonight due to work commitments however, I have often criticised NFP for his team formation.

Please someone explain to me who went Why on earth are we playing 4-5-1 at home!!!!!????
