Webbo Posted 2 March 2010 Posted 2 March 2010 I've got open office and I wrote an estimate on it and sent it by E-Mail. The problem is the other chap can't open it. I haven't got 'Word' so I need to convert it into a pdf. Can someone tell me how that's done. I could do with an answer tonight please.

I use CutePDF - download from http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp You have to download the 'Converter' as well but if I remember correctly, you'll be asked if you want to download it whilst downloading/installing CutePDF. Has the other guy got Word? If so, you can save your OpenOffice document as a Word document and then send him that. Best in PDF format though so that he can't change any figures!
Daggers Posted 3 March 2010 Posted 3 March 2010 For the record Primopdf is very good for text documents. That was my software of choice before downloading Adobe for free.
