Fosse Boy Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Yeah the change is at new street so if you get a day return or an off peak return you will be fine to do that. That is what Im planning on doing, no real decent pubs around the ground. Cheers.
RowlattsFox Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Are people going to The Hawthorns from Moor Street or Snow Hill? Or doesn't it matter. Hope the trains back to New Street after the game aren't too busy, I've heard it can take a while to get on a train if there is loads of fans getting on.

Hope it's an easy getaway because I intend to hit Life in a huge way afterwards and I could do with a warm up in the Loaded Dog.

Ilkeston_Fox Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Not read through the thread - it's midnight and i've got work at 6am (any excuse). Does anyone know of any pubs that are away friendly? I'm travelling on the coach but intend to have a couple if we don't get held up. Thanks in advance

They sell beer in the ground or you are going to have to travel/cover up.
kylestyle06 Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Tickets are on sale on the gate for this, I have just spoken to the ticket office.

Mee Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Should be a good game, for some reason i can see City pulling something good off in this. Dead excited for tomorrow now :scarf:
Mee Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Looks like they have almost sold all there tickets, so a good atmosphere i think Im in A5 Row F, if that seat ok? I have never been to the Hawthorns before so im not sure , Will we still get all the singing and such? Im a bit of a 'nooby' when it comes to away games.
C-man Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 I dunno Joe, are you going to stand and sing? It might help!
Mee Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Love the singing mate, whats a game without singing? , I just weren't sure , but now i think about it, it was a dumb question by me , Thanks for the reply anyway mate!
Mee Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Yeh, i read that the double numbers are at the back. Many apologies for alot of questions but is there more atmosphere near the back?
Tommeh Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 11.16 train. fvck knows what row think it was AA or something, i'll be nowhere near it. Very excited for this one. Praying for a good end not infested with carps and more importantly 3 huge points.

Praying for a good end not infested with carps and more importantly 3 huge points. I think this away day has massive potential to be one of the best this season. A lot of people will be put off for the fact it's on Sky, which probably works well in our favour. Dreading the match to be honest, more looking forward to the pre-match antics.
Floating Fox Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 My mate whos coming from London to watch the game hasnt recieved his tickets in the post... What is he meant to do if they dont turn up before he leaves at 11? Oh and the rows are ****ed up at west brom...I can't remember which way round it is, i think row AA is the front row..Maybe...I just remember first time we went getting totally confused as to which row we were on and everyone else was confuzzled too... Oh well back row it is... Not a massive fan of the stewards here, but the home fans always make plenty of noise and I am actually excited about a Leicester game!
bigneville Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Row XX. Must be nearing the back surely? I asked for a seat at the back, and i'm on row XX. So i'm pretty certain you'll be right at the back!
