leftsideoverhere Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 That's what people said about Forest away and then it was morose as fvck from the off. Yeah, cos getting our arses spanked 5-1 would have been loads of fun at 3pm.
Ozwin Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Will season ticket holders get priority on tickets? I'll be fuming if I have to rush down there to get a ticket.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Will season ticket holders get priority on tickets? I'll be fuming if I have to rush down there to get a ticket. I'd expect we will get our seats reserved for a day or two, but with the quick turnaround from the end of the season to ticket sales we probably won't get them for long. I also hope they implament the away priority system should we have an away leg and/or a final at wembley.

Matt Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Probably wont need the away priority for Wembley what with 30K+ seats and the ticket prices. We've got more than 30k fans though, only 21k regularly go to games at the Walkers but no doubt the day trippers/other jumping on the bandwagon would come out the woodwork, i'd like to see some priority at the very least, Season Ticket holder priority e.t.c, would have thought this would be the case anyway? I agree I don't think the away priority system would need to be in place, no need there's more than enough allocation to cover all season ticket holders, member, regulars and then the day trippers/people jumping on the bandwagon, i'b be very pissed if they went straight to general sale - which I would think is very unlikely anyway. However, we're not there, we're not even guaranteed in the playoffs yet, i'm (trying) not looking that far yet.
Daggers Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 What time is the live stream of the open-top bus celebration?
Tommeh Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Be interesting to see what happens to L/N ST holders for a potential home leg. I'm fairly certain the away allocation will be 4-5k, same as we have to offer for cup matches. K will be a bit of a Jib.
Guest Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Of course the priority system will be used if we get to Wembley. It will mean that sales can be sold in an orderly and controlled fashion, until it gets to general sale of course.

I can remember situations where due to time limitations they by passed some of the criteria they's set down for ordinary games. I can imagine them thinking 30K+ tickets - 13K ST holders why do we need to prioritise.
Stevosevic Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 Will members get priority over general sale IF we get to the final? I only go around 10 games a season home/away, and i'm not in a position to get down to Leicester to queue as i am currently working in Manchester. Therefore i am hoping we can still buy by phone/email.

I can imagine them thinking 30K+ tickets - 13K ST holders why do we need to prioritise. IIRC, selling arrangements for the last play off final were already in place before the home semi was played, so there will be plenty of time to organise the logistics. With the Cup finals, they stuck religiously to the priority system, even though all STHs would have been able to get a ticket easily. On top of that, there will be P1/P2 STHs who would be mightily pissed off not to get first choice on tickets for certain areas. I also think that the thought of 13K people turning up on the first day of sales would be the last thing the ticket office staff will be wanting, which is why they've stuck to the priority system in the past. I don't really see why it's such a problem utilising the priority system. It makes a lot more sense to use it than not to use it.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 IF we get to Wembley do you rekon we could chose where we wanted to sit? like how high up and what block etc the last thing i'd want is to be stuck on the side stand 3 rows from the front

I agree, all I'm saying is I remember one of the play offs when there was 13k people or more down there queuing for tickets so it's not unheard of and when it comes to LCFC and administrative task I never ever take anything for granted as I've been let down so many times. In fact I remember one year being in a queue that stretched all the way down Burnmoor St / Raw Dykes Rd / Aylestone Rd opposite the car showroom.

What they did at Filbo was use the different ticket booths/offices to sell tickets for certain areas, so all the cheap seats were from one booth, the mid price another, etc. They also had boxes for each block, so if you specified a block and row, you got the ticket you wanted. I would like to think that they would do the same again. There were problems the first time when they made it a free for all, in most respects. I know that general sale will be absolutely manic, as people will queue overnight for their tickets, but I know they wanted to avoid it for the cup games, so used the priority system to make most of the selling easier to deal with.

It was chaos if I remember correctly.
Paulmot Posted 20 March 2010 Posted 20 March 2010 As of today 79 points guarantees play of spot as reading can get 78 points then cov and sheff u can get 77 points I have a feeling 72 may be enough Massive game 2MRW COME ON YOU BLUES

I remember being in that if it was the 1992 play off final you're talking about. Myself and my dad queued for what seemed like an eternity for them, in fact, I remember queuing for ages for all three play off finals.
