Babylon Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 And when will he be back? Dunno. As Yann ain't the man. Apparently Mark Bright said in the commentary that the Leicester coaching staff had "been raving about how good he is" and that "he only needs a goal". Obviously they are seeing something in training we aren't.

Obviously they are seeing something in training we aren't. And Pearson has said he's the best striker at the club - but then that is all we'd expect them to say in public. I hardly expect them to hold their hands up and say "Look, sorry, we got it wrong and he is totally outclassed. We doubt he'll ever find the net but are popping him on in games in the hope that he catches fire and we can claim on the insurance."
Jimbo Posted 22 March 2010 Posted 22 March 2010 it looks to me as though Yann is struggling to fit in. He wasn't sure what his role was when he came on yesterday (probably still a language barrier?) I know he's had a lot of time now, but i still believe that once he does find his feet then he'll come good. I think he shows touches of class now and again but is probably trying too hard and the pressure is starting to get to him. Trouble is, how much more time do we give him? Vaughan apparently has a strain (hamstring or calf, one of the two) and has been suffering with illness. Hopefully back by the weekend to knock a couple in against Derby

I imagine if he does play he won't get a great reception from the Sheep Shaggers so to have him bang in a couple against too would be awesome. The natives would be well and truly restless.

The natives I've spoke to are more pissed off with Everton as they apparently gave Derby first refusal when he was back fit and then quickly forgot that when we came knocking.
