Surely the fact people are voting en masse for Hobbs, Berner, Hobbs, Waghorn and Weale is in part because they've been on form recently. Morrison was out of the picture at the start of the season, Waghorn for all his endeavour had limited effect at the start of his spell here. Hobbs was shaky as well for the first part of the season, and Berner has obviously gotten votes purely for his recent goals and forays forward coupled with the performances of McGivern. I'm not saying the shouldn't be in contention, but I'm surprised how relatively few mention King (especially with his recent goals and very good recent form) and how many that don't judge Fryatt's contribution for the first half of the season to as vital if not more than e.g. Hobbs or Weale at the back :dunno: .

Weale for me, been immense every game I've watched. Made so many crucial finger tip saves (that have banked us points) and I think the defence has been as good as they have because they know they've got a solid keeper behind them

Berner has been consistent pretty much from the start of the season, while King took time to find his feet at this level.

For me, the consistent performers throughout have been Berner, Weale and Fryatt (until his injury), and Morrison I felt was unlucky to be dropped in the first instance.

Bruno (has been great all season bar a couple of games) and Hobbs.

Quite nice to actually have a choice as to who is a genuine player of the year, rather than who has been the best of the worst so to speak.
