AoWW Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 You fooking lightweight, maddog. Get yourself down here with a sleeping bag and a flask. There's five in the queue so far, and it promises to be a jolly night. One bloke's been here since 5pm! Any P3er who seriously wants to go to the away leg can be confident of getting a ticket if they get here before midnight. After that, I dunno... In years to come my lad will tell his kids about the night his mad old man slept outside the ticket office to buy tickets for the epic Cardiff game. And that thought alone will keep me warm. It's just like the old days. You're actually in the queue now? Fair play to you! Hope it doesn't rain too much overnight.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Would have seen you then. Fair play to the guy from Sheffield who'd drove down at 2AM. And the old dear who was there from 5AM That was my mate who sorted my tickets I thought he was nuts when he told me, but i wasnt going to talk him out of it i just wanted tickets!
leftsideoverhere Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 You're actually in the queue now? Fair play to you! Hope it doesn't rain too much overnight. Yup. Liveblogging from the queue. Now I just need to sort out a lift to Cardiff. Any offers?
AoWW Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Yup. Liveblogging from the queue. Now I just need to sort out a lift to Cardiff. Any offers? Ooh, 'liveblogging' - could be an FT first?! Can't help with a lift, I'm afraid, tho I'd happily sell you my car for £500.

If I had £500 I wouldn't need to queue for tickets, would I? But would it improve my chances of a lift if I sat outside your house all night? I could do it, apparently!
Gaffer Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 That was my mate who sorted my tickets I thought he was nuts when he told me, but i wasnt going to talk him out of it i just wanted tickets! Said he was from Harborough, cracking dedication, think he said he's got his dissertation in tomorrow n'all Was with him and an old dear outside from 5, worth it

leftsideoverhere Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 I swear, if another drunk from out the hsopitality suites asks us if we're queueing for home leg tickets like we're retards there will be trouble.
cosb6 Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Hey... I have mine, so good luck to all you lot out in the cold tonight. Dedication!
leftsideoverhere Posted 8 May 2010 Posted 8 May 2010 Queue update: it's started raining again. A few people are queueing in their cars. I think that's cheating but mostly just 'cos I'm jealous. I don't have a car to hide in.

I don't have a car to hide in. Hello! That'll be me in one of the cars you are referring to. Weather update from the car - dry and warm! I'm tempted to drive the car to the back of the queue!
thurnbyfox Posted 8 May 2010 Posted 8 May 2010 Right a few cars have started to arrive. It's time to abandon the car and join the queue!
leftsideoverhere Posted 8 May 2010 Posted 8 May 2010 Right a few cars have started to arrive. It's time to abandon the car and join the queue! *Real* fans sat outside all night Welcome to the queue, though, mate. Do come and say hello!
maddog Posted 8 May 2010 Posted 8 May 2010 Hope you guys haven't got pneumonia or something, TBH i wouldn't know how cold it would be standing outside all night How big is the queue now
leftsideoverhere Posted 8 May 2010 Posted 8 May 2010 How big is the queue now Exactly 249 people. You'd better hurry.
leftsideoverhere Posted 8 May 2010 Posted 8 May 2010 Tickets sorted. Long night in the drizzle well worth it. Also got a Cardiff away zone family car park voucher, which we won't need as we're going on FT coach #6. So if anyone wants a free car park voucher for the away end at the stadium, let me know.
Anish Posted 8 May 2010 Posted 8 May 2010 \well I've just bought my ticket in the Cardiff end, as close to the away end as possible. For anyone that hasn't managed to get a ticket, register on the Cardiff City website and buy your ticket online - it's so easy, no queuing!
