Guest Mee-9 Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Ordered my dads ticket for the home leg on Wednesday at about 6 pm. Tickets came today Another  to the TO
Craig Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 I was down the Ticket Office queing from 6am this morning. Isle 119 Row JJ Around 400 left when I was down there, rumor has it coperate people have had some of the fans tickets.. I swear you didn't pull up until about 7.15, and then got out of your car and started queuing at about 8.
CosbehFox Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 My sentiments exactly, where are all the fans that came to the nothing middlesboro game??? Freebies, my friend. A lot of freebies were dished out for the Middlesbrough game. I can only think it's the fact that this isn't a Premiership or local derby that it's selling out. Although understandably, foxes from afar might be annoyed at the day and kick-off time.
CosbehFox Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 , rumor has it coperate people have had some of the fans tickets.. When don't corporate folks have some tickets for 'Big' games. It's near enough fact that at least 200 of our allocation was going to club staff, families of the players and corporate bods.
Tommeh Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Calm down dear, you're making massive assumptions about last seasons P1ers. I know several people who did the league one tour last season which made them the P1 that they weren't last season for this, myself included. Repetition is dull mate, I missed out on Northampton away last season because I was only P3 but I didn't moan about it. Shit happens, if you get a ticket, you get a ticket. There are lots of people in the same boat and not all of them are kicking off. If you're that bothered about how many P1/2ers there are then bug the arse out of Jim when he's really busy and see how far you get! Well said. I'll have 100 notes with anyone that there are more Priority 1's/2's this season than many previous. we averaged 2,002 in away attendances only bettered by 3 others outside the PL and had many embrace the league 1 grounds, certainly more than 5 years of championship ones. Also what's Maddog banging on about local games? Did we not take well over 4,500 to Posh and MK Dongs? You really want a ticket for the away leg, pop down as the staff are leaving, offer them £50 as a backhander to sort you failing that sorry Mr. Cov, Forest and Derby away it's highly probable you won't get tickets. Still absolutely bricking it as to whether I have an away leg one.
Tilley Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Got my away tickets through someone my Mum knows, just see if I can wriggle out of work a little earlier.
portchy! Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Anyone know how many are left? About 2000 home tickets left and " a limited amount on sale for the away leg"

Your mad aren't you I walked in at 10 o clock and literally walked straight to the front.
Tommeh Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 This season is 1761 though pre-Preston and Peterborough. Yeah? Not too shabby. That 2,002 I stated only needs to be compared to seasons 07/08 and before though. you know the days when we took 300 to Burnley and Hull.
C-man Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 I don't believe in away attendance figures. Our programme reckons we only took 2900 to Sheffield Wednesday yet we had sold that before anyone bought on the gate. It also reckons we only took 800 to Bristol and I'm sure it was at least 1000.
maddog Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Has anyone looked at the OS lately 250 away tickets left for P3s tomorrow morning, 1st come 1st serve. http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2046536,00.html Very pleased the club have been honest and are selling off the remainders. Good luck to the guys trying, i bet you could get to the ticket office at 4am and still miss out though, i won't be trying. Some will camp out in tents i bet, think i will just take the easy option of TV now.

maddog Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 After all that ^^^^^^^^ I was just paranoid again for no reason that the club were going to lie to everyone, now they haven't i'm happy. And trying to get one would be ridiculous with only 250 left, i could literally get there 6 hours+ before the TO opened and there be a load of people there already. Fook knows what time people will be getting there. I know i got there early for the Mk Dons away match in League one and was behind a good 70 people well before the TO opened. And this is a playoff semi with 12k+ people after 250 tickets! I suppose if i lived very close to the stadium it would be possible.

It would be the same if they had 1000 tickets going, can't understand why you've made such a fuss and then when they've proved you wrong you can't even be bothered to attempt to get a ticket. What on earth was all the fuss about?
Head Honcho Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Got my ticket for the 2nd leg today £26..............trouble is I'm in with the home fans Pretty busy down there today though. There was a steady queue of about 30 people and I was waiting for about 10 minutes.

There was a steady queue of about 30 people and I was waiting for about 10 minutes. 30 people - not exactly a lot. I've been trying to get a ticket in the home end - their phone lines have been engaged all day and now they're working but nobody is picking up, even though they've extended the call centre hours. I'll have to try tomorrow.

Yeah, the kick-off time isn't great but having sat through all the crap and mediocrity served up during the years 2003-08 there's no way I'd miss this. I think we'll sell out still.
Gaffer Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 I was down the Ticket Office queing from 6am this morning. Would have seen you then. Fair play to the guy from Sheffield who'd drove down at 2AM. And the old dear who was there from 5AM

BrummieFOX Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 If it's Hobbs' mum then I don't mind - seen the lass at every away game I've been to this year Probably would...but imagine Jack during. They do say he's here, there and every fooking where.

Get yourself down here with a sleeping bag and a flask. There's five in the queue so far, and it promises to be a jolly night. One bloke's been here since 5pm! Any P3er who seriously wants to go to the away leg can be confident of getting a ticket if they get here before midnight. After that, I dunno... In years to come my lad will tell his kids about the night his mad old man slept outside the ticket office to buy tickets for the epic Cardiff game. And that thought alone will keep me warm. It's just like the old days.
