hbkkids Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 i hope so, it would be great to see him play before the end of the season.
Babylon Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 i hope so, it would be great to see him play before the end of the season. He's in non contact training and has another scan on his jaw in a week or two. If it comes back ok he can start training properly.
Wycombe Fox Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 I'm sure he said at half-time on Monday that his scan is on 19th April.
C-man Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 He did yeah. I'm guessing he might be on the bench at PNE. Maybe get a bit longer against Boro.
Collymore Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 According to my uncle's best mate's brother - After coming out of Morrisons (having just seen Folwer and Sven) he looked up into the sky, and over the west side of the car park he spotted Fryatt floating away into the distance. It's something to do with him losing 99% of his body weight. Apparently Stringer had been interviewing Fryatt and forgot to tether him down... Stringer is now spending the Easter hols in a spotter plane searching for Fryatt somewhere over the Atlantic. To say Pearson isn't happy is an understatement.... Here's the 'Search for Fryatt' OS picture special if you don't believe me...
leicesterfox86 Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 He's in non contact training and has another scan on his jaw in a week or two. If it comes back ok he can start training properly. Back in time for the play-offs...?
unreachable Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Back in time for the play-offs...? NP says on Foxes Player today that "he could be back in a week or so" - whatever that means.
MrSpaM Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 All lined up for a Fryatt hat-trick against Middlesborough
flanimal Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Even if he gets fit, he'll be so off his game, we may as well play Kermorgant. Oh...err.... oops.
DB11 Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 He was playing darts at the training ground the other day.
Mee Posted 9 April 2010 Posted 9 April 2010 When he was on the pitch at half time, i swear he said that he will be back for the Watford game. (Well he said the date, but i can't remember what the date was) And he set that as his like 'aim'.
Karljohn Posted 9 April 2010 Posted 9 April 2010 He said at half time that he had another scan on April 19th and if all is ok then he can resume immediately, so available for Preston.
Collymore Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 "I thought I'd be okay to carry on. I just thought I'd lost all my teeth, I was searching around on the floor for my teeth." simply the best thing I've ever read! Fryatt is a legend! I just thought I'd lost all my teeth!!!!!!
MC Prussian Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 Judging by the interview on FoxesPlayer, Fryatt's back to his old ways. Takes the incident rather light-hearted, was more worried about losing all his teeth. Looks like the doctors did a great job on the jaw - can't really spot a thing anymore. Generally, Fryatt comes across as relieved and happy being able to put his boots on once more, lost twenty pounts during his absence and has now a few weeks to get back into proper shape. The Watford game's probably a bit too early a call, but he might be on the bench for Preston and get some playing time against Middlesbrough as a sub - in any case, it's great to see him back and he could be the missing piece for a successful playoff phase.
The Padster Posted 17 April 2010 Posted 17 April 2010 Mercury Just as they've been saying all along. He'll be back for the play-offs.
