Dylan Posted 12 May 2010 Author Posted 12 May 2010 Looking at the teams now, it looks a bit more difficult as they've got a full strength side. But it was always gonna be difficult. We need everyone at 100%, but to win this i feel we're going to need some luck. Luck of the ball, and luck from the ref. They got all the refs luck in the 1st leg, so its our turn. Steve Bennett do us a favour . It wouldn't of been the lineup i would've chose but thats why NP is manager- he knows best (i hope). Hopefully Howard carries on where he left off, scoring goals, and winning headers. Hopefully Fryatt is more sharper than we've seen him in the last 2, always at the end of Howard's flick ons. We HAVE to finish all our chances. Its not gonna be easy going to Cardiff, and we're only gonna get a few chances, so we need to convert them. My prediction- Cardiff City 1-2 Leicester City (Howard 12, King 67; Bothroyd 89) 5-4 to us on pens, in sudden death, with Chris Weale saving their 5th penalty at 4-4 on pens.
Mee Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 There will be no width down the right with this system. But that goes without saying - we've had it for two seasons. This needs to be the Gallagher show tonight. He needs to pop up here, there and everywhere. Please do not try to stick to the right. This never works. Fryatt isn't match sharp, big gamble. Big gambles go both ways. Either it's a masterstroke or it ends in disaster. Barnsley, Ipswich, QPR and Plymouth pulled off a win at Cardiff. Why can't we? This Agree about Gally, sometimes he can shine, yet sometimes he is distant. I hope for a top class performance by everyone today. Hopefully dyer has his running shoes on. Nothing to lose, just play your hearts out lads!
Edmund Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I personally would've liked to seen N'Guessan start but in Nige we trust.
BoneDog Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Well, the starting line-up has shocked me a bit. Hopefully it works out I reckon Nige might be thinking about the possibility of extra-time.
Aeropars Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Marshall McNaughton Hudson Blake Kennedy Burke McPhail Ledley Whittingham Bothroyd Chopra Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah Not that the game again I see! Good job all the Welsh are not like you pal. NP has to be going for impact subs. Keep it tight to settle nerves. Try and counter with Dyer and then impact subs to hit them hard with power and pace.
BoneDog Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Pearsons interview on Sky just gave me a confidence boost Still clacking me pants though.
ihatecardiff Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 fook me that was close They will all shut up after about 10 minutes if it is still 0-0
NGoloMode Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 My heart stopped for a second... should have been 1-0 down
Flynny Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Cardiff are flying out of the traps but there's space here if someone puts their foot on the ball.
MikeyT Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 We just can't keep hold of the ball, and everytime they come forward i poop myself.
MikeyT Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Least Cardiff seem to be playing football instead of handball tonight so far.
Aeropars Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 We are hanging on. I cant see this happening guys at the moment.
BlueSi13 Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Just like the first leg we are being completely outplayed when Cardiff have the ball and decide to play, we look a million miles from a Premier League team im afraid Still hope yet though while its 0-0 C'MON LEICESTER
